You poor thing!! That is much worse than mine, which is also in hell week but not on THE day! Dec birthdays need to be outlawed.

I pretty much ignore mine, too. My family was never big on celebrating birthdays, and I never seemed to have friends who remembered or chose to do something, so I just keep the day to myself so I'm not disappointed, lol. I usually buy myself something, though.

Since I was given up for adoption when I was born, I feel like no one was rejoicing on the day of my birth anyway, so it doesn't seem fit to be celebrating on the anniversary every year.
