Status: offline 		Rush deserves, well, I suppose "credit" is the word, unfortunately, for the following:

1) He realizes that "news" has become entertainment.
2) He realizes that people like to be told, rather than think. It simplifies their lives--Reagan was the model for this.
3) He realizes people react much, much more than they act (or think) proactively.
4) He realizes that, despite what they think of themselves, people react much more readily to negative than to positive stimuli.
5) He realizes that people will believe as truth what they are consistently told.
6) He realizes people don't check facts or methodology--they just want to be told the "bottom line."
7) He realizes hate creates buzz which creates ratings.
8) He realized wealthy conservatives were starved for a popular venue.

If listeners were as smart as they think, they'd be indifferent--on both "sides."

In the meantime, he can and will continue to take it to the bank.

Status: offline 		BTW, cuck...Rush says exactly what he needs to generate, as he put it, "confiscitory ad rates".  Anything goes, as long as it generates the most money for him.  If you call him on the mistakes, he claims it's all joking, and he's just an entertainer.  If you call him an entertainer, he gets huffy and declares that he's a journalist.

My  mom used to call me and me about Rush statements, and they were uniformly wrong.  I've heard them myself.  I've also read the transcripts of his shows from alt.fans.rush.limbaugh.   

Yup, he's rich. So's Howard Stern.  I don't care for either.  Both, in my oh so humble opinion, are sad excuses for men.

Far left? I'm a fiscal conservative. Even socially, I'm moderate. I do have some progressive positions.
