Spankings she'll have to work out on her own. I'm sure there are many spank happy Doms here.

And all in a day's work, sunshine. Now pass the syrup!

All the mods on this site care for it deeply, or we wouldn't do it. We all have different approaches as we are not bots

Mod 11 is an amazing mod who put a lot of energy when most of us were too busy. We are now working on having a more unified approach.

I like the less corporate approach of the mods and the new power rangeresque badges. It looks more Super Hero funky, and down to earth friendly. It is kind of funny to see the direct response coming from a Mod.

I always loved the Mods, they were always very kind and good to me. The Highway Patrolman with the Video thing is cool.

Mods are mod.

Pass the syrup, wow.

If you start with the spatula whacks, you'll never get to the crepes!

Various people bring different things to the table.  I know it most certainly is a balancing act.  I cant say I always got it right in my goings-ons.

If you see something contrary to TOS (which to my reading includes the things I mentioned at the beginning of this thread), please use the Report button.

I will not. I reported one insulting person once and the result was that my very successful fat poll got pulled without notifying me beforehand so that I might save the poll data.

Was you relying on such data to inform the UN on policy.

If it winds up becoming too much like Fetlife, I'm out of here, but we'll just have to see how it all shakes out.

Would you mind expanding on that please?  In comparing the two sites, I've often heard people say things like: CM has better thread formatting and search features, while FetLife has fewer scammer profiles and nasty-email senders.  You seem to be saying something different, though.  Are you?

Well, not really. I don't know anything about scammer profiles, because none of them ever contact me and I never contact... well, anybody, really. Nasty e-mails? I've only gotten one in my time here, so again, that's not an issue for me.

I just don't care much for the discussion forums on Fetlife at all. First of all, the whole format is incomprehensible. You've got bazillions of groups all devoted to the exact same topics, and bazillions more that are nothing but nonsense ("I'm Not Old Enough To Drink, But I'm Young Enough To Bang"? What the fuck is that about?) It's all noise; total chaos. Finding an interesting discussion is far more effort than it's worth.  But now that I think about it, obviously that would never be a problem here, because the user-friendly structure is already firmly in place here. That's not going to change.

I guess more than anything, what i was referring to when i said that was the lack of moderation there. I like the new, looser standards of moderation here, but if they swing too far in the direction of Fetlife to try to hold onto the market share they're losing to Fet (and make no mistake; in spite of VideoAdmin's protestations, that's a big reason why they are loosening up the moderation here), this place will have no value anymore for serious discussions. It'll just be Comedy Central, and there won't be any point at all in trying to have a serious discussion about anything. At that point, this place will just be a waste of time, and I'll move on. And so will a lot of others. Let's hope it doesn't come to that, because right now it's a pretty damned good message board. But we'll see. Time will tell.

There is a happy medium between sanitized boards, hate filled bickering, and pure fluff..there are quite a few intelligent posters here that have long been known and admired for their posts, I dont see that changing.

In many countries. discussing politics is illegal. In many countries discussing BDSM is illegal.

Everything about this website has been banned, somewhere.

I know of at least 2 relatively recent and LONG threads that contained racial slurs. Any reason these weren't moderated?

The TOS is vague about this, but does explicitly state that the site cannot be used for illegal activity. In many of the countries of subscribers to this site, racial (and many other forms of) vilification is illegal.
