Ok, I have some bearing now.  You are removing Dominance/submission from the BDSM compound acronym.  Gotcha.

osf -> RE: Operant conditioning (1/2/2010 5:35:58 PM)

the relationship occupies the greatest fraction of the time, and whatever else you do some of the rest

Dominance and submission aren't parts of a bdsm relationship????
Those two things are pretty much the foundation of my relationship.

wisdomtogive -> RE: Operant conditioning (1/2/2010 5:37:04 PM)

My opinion of the inner child, which ,imho, is in everyone is the 'self' that  operates out of complete trust.  It does not react out of old conditionings, which created walls of distrust. It instead responds to feelings of safety and being at peace with the world, or in BDSM, with one's Master..

Of course my way of using the 'inner child'  is esoteric and psychological in nature. The inner child trusts completely, that an adults can seldom reach. Hence why meditation is highly recommended to use in reaching the inner child.

You mean your id?

You know, I never actually made that connection!  Go you!  Gives me a whole new appreciation for otherwise dry verbiage.

I don't know why I respond to your threads...I can never quite seem to understand what you are saying.
I doubt I'm the only one. Part of your problem might just be your communication skills.

osf -> RE: Operant conditioning (1/2/2010 5:45:43 PM)

i say primal, but i guess id works

osf -> RE: Operant conditioning (1/2/2010 5:47:30 PM)

lets see, first you have to have a solid relationship from which all else springs, such as what kink you engage in

osf -> RE: Operant conditioning (1/2/2010 5:48:38 PM)

the relationship is a priori

Nope...mine started out as a purely kink relationship. Didn't even know his real name.

Its not just you. The fortune cookies are in fact rather inscrutable.

osf -> RE: Operant conditioning (1/2/2010 5:54:07 PM)

it could have started out as a coincidental buss ride, but it's a relationship now
