Well that's gone and put the icing on the cake this season! I've got to admit that I'm chuffed.

You forgot to point out just HOW upset the "prawn sandwich" supporters will all BE Stella ((rolls off chair in fits, having made sure this got a mention !)) ... Not far off "Auld Firm" rivalry that fixture, innit.

And to FURTHER irritate the Man U contingent ... this was posted by a supporter of the FIRST British team to win the European cup (Grinz)

so then when they win- they set the city on fire, break windows, over turn cars and trample each other?

We, (in most dramatic statement) would never ever EVER wreck a city in the US over a blasted BALL game!!!

Yeah- that sport never took off here.

Most would say "huh"?

But then the USA is highly myopic.   Very self absorbed. And lets not get me started on the takiest New Years eve ball in Times Square I ever seen!    1. billboard at the Ball.  2.  Played John Lennon "Imagine" before the count down.   Do you know how condescending that is??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And not we are exporting the "duh factor" !!!!

egads!

I watched from halfway through the first half (after the goal) - great match. Though a Man U supporter it took me all of ten minutes to be willing Leeds on to win, quite simply because they were excellent. All credit to Leeds for their brilliant discipline, (something even my 10 year old daughter remarked on, and she hates football so for her to even notice it........), and best of luck in the promotion race. Give it a couple of seasons eh? And then Man U can thump you properly!
