Status: offline 		From a fashion standpoint, crocs should be outlawed ... LOL I'm not a foot fetishist and I hate the things.

Most of my shoes are sketchers, at this point - work shoes, which, at any given time could have anything from random body fluids (I'm a nurse in a prison) to animal poo (I live with chickens and dogs - walking through the yard is hazardous). Not very sexy by my standards.

Pfft.  The answer, for me, is quite traditional, really.  In the days of yore boys and young men were taught how not to act like animals when approaching girls and women.  I think it was recognised, back then, that males were somewhat hard-wired to be horny in a way that was overwhelming for their target females.  With the advent of the Internet and sites like this, they need that kind of teaching all over again. 

Me, when I contact a woman, I'll pretty much avoid mention of kink altogether.  Joke, make it light-hearted . . . because contact between two people in a sexually-charged atmosphere can feel stilted, heavy and somewhat cold.  That'd be true of a vanilla nightclub; it's even more true of this site. 

Or so it all feels to me.  Whatever, I don't think I've ever received an aggressive response, and I've seldom been ignored.  And - maybe worth mentioning - many have replied, in a friendly way, without even first having looked at my profile.
