on one end of the interpretation; the person could be lecturing or quoting ,from a lesson or lecture ,or its their favorite style,of narration,(telling a story)or ,on the extreme side they, maybe ,just schitzophrenic; takes evaluation; ie: putting one trait together ,with another , to come up with the third, or what 2 traits trigger the 3rd resulting behavior or response, so putting two and two together is needed ,for the evaluation and prediciton of that particular behavior(the one in question being:speaking 3rd party all the time). rule of thumb: if its annoying "lets face it: pathology is annoying". some pathologically annoying person drives you bats or its your pathology etc,and visa versa.... or , to the pathological-degeree; it's maladapative,or ,not adaptive speech, or ,simply, not normal. a very large-education- difference ;can ,also account for what you think is abnormal,or abnormal-speech,in this case.
