:: gets on soapbox :: Ok, here is my question. What is the deal with all the players on this site? Are they just out to hurt people? I can count on 1 hand how many TRUE friends that I have made on this site. I was stupid enough to let someone into my life to help me with some guidance that I need, and have figured out that he too was nothing more than a player. It gets old getting hurt, that's for sure! :: gets off soapbox :: Ok, so other than that, how is everyone's New Year going thus far??? And here's a question of the day: Why is it when you go to Walmart for 3 items you come out with 10 bags of stuff you DON'T need, but thought you did??? <---- tries to lighten mood & lift spirits a bit! On this forum, as on any other, you will find what you attract. I'm not saying you attract users; I'm saying that perhaps you are being less than careful about your screening process. I've only had good luck on this site and on the b site. Lucky? Probably. Careful? Absolutely!

Lauri Walgreens is my issue. I walk in there, and they have all these tables set up between the isles, JUST FOR ME, filled with all maner of stuff I didn't know I needed till I walked in there! How did they know, when I didn't? ( One clue might be in the fact that I not only didn't know I needed that stuff, I didn't even know most of it eXisted!)

How about this for an answer...if we didnt not have to go through the dregs and the dross, the losers and the players,the flippers and the floppers,the shifty and the shiftless..we then would not appreciate or recognize the gold,silver or even better, the platinum that is out there.
