I am definitely not a man w/ a fem name, and I often get the nudies off the bat from boys (and girls); headless of course. And I am not going to sit here and lie that I don't like looking at a nice di-ck (yes, nice, not horrible or small) every now and then (perhaps I have a di-ck fetish

Nevertheless, I don't ask for nudies (except from my boy that I know), but if I say "send a pic since u've seen mine", 7 times out of 10, I get a nudie.

I compleatly agree MsDDom, human body is a beautiful piece of art fun to look at. The other thing which you alluded here, people being over enthusiastic to send their naked pics. In my humble opinion, headless nudes should always be seen with suspicion. Although why send a nude before the other person asks for one & if you are sending one why are you ashamed of it?
After some very helpful discussion, i think in my case i should respectfully decline sending those nudes to the Dommes. I would have no problem being naked in front of them, but after we have a relation where we are comfortable & there is trust.

p.s. ironically i do have a CFNM fetish.

Oh your avatar is cute and funny. And you must identify with it, so that is what's most important. I'm assuming you are playing on the academic look? While it is cute, it is also meek, not in alignment with the Alpha personality you say you have on your profile. Also, I saw a pic of you on your profile and you are a handsome and distinguished man. You might want to use that to your advantage.

Then again, that is only my opinion and someone might tell you the exact opposite. But you asked, so I shared :-)

i agree completely. These forums are the best part of CM. i've met and conversed with so many great people here. i seldom spend any time on the other parts of CM.

As for your original question, i too feel uncomfortable when asked to send naked pictures early in the "get to know you" process. My alarms always go off when that happens. i know this is going to sound stereotypical, but women are not as visually oriented as men are. When someone wants a naked picture right away, i usually get suspicious that it's a man (although MsDDom is clearly an exception to that stereotype. Clearly she just enjoys looking at a nice dick).

If you don't feel comfortable sending the picture, then don't. That doesn't make you a fake sub, that makes you smart. Only you know your personal situation. Perhaps sending naked pictures to an anonymous stranger could come back to haunt you in your professional life.

As a sub, i still believe that we have the right to ask a prospective Domme to respect our privacy. If She needs to see a naked picture before we can get to know one another, then i usually move on. That probably means that i will miss out on some great Dommes (like MsDDom). But that is a risk that i am willing to take.

Of course, once i get to know Her, then She can see me naked anytime She wants.

The avatar is how i see myself, the alpha personality in RL is more of what i HAD to cultivate, being in a cut-throat profession. The avatar is what i see myself as, a funny, nerdy, a bit cute.... meek??? why not...

Marshal - If you want to find someone with long-term compatibility, do NOT relax your standards and listen to your gut instinct. Both people in the relationship, create the relationship. If someone is leading in a direction you don't want to go, don't follow. Simple.

"less submissive" - No. Not a good fit, probably. (The *fit* goes both ways, and just because there isn't one, doesn't mean anyone is *bad/wrong/less*).

The search can be long and arduous, but when you hit the jackpot, it's soooooooooooo worth it! Be prepared to kiss a lot of toads, hold onto your integrity, and don't be lead by your little head.

Being the smart ass that I am, when asked for nude pictures way too soon, I send a nude of my back or legs and have even been known to send a nude of slave's chest. All can be done without showing anything vital and it gives me a good giggle when I see the reply has been read and no response is pending.
