MasterCsea -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 9:47:00 AM)

Thank you WinsomeDefiance for the welcome. Actually, I have gotten some very good responses to my ad in spite of the deluge of scammers as I have on other sites. You might be right that I might not be getting responses after a while, but after October, it won't matter anyway as I'm off to sail the seven seas. Actually just the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic but the seven seas sounds better.
To the woman who suggested that my photo came off the internet, it didn't but I'm sure that it is out there as well and you can buy the film. How do you think i paid for the stupid boat? LoL
And finally, I am not new to BDSM or this site, I just haven't been on here in a long while. I didn't recall so many scammers then. I kind of resented them.
Anyway, I certainly hit a nerve with the above post for sure and the message is received that those who posted don't want to read anymore like them. You won't. At least not from me.

KatyLied -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 9:49:00 AM)

You can ignore the scammers.  I do not understand the big deal.  If people are so stupid to give their savings to scammers perhaps they should be parted from it.  Some people are too dumb for the bad internets!

LadyPact -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 9:50:31 AM)

It's ok.  Give it a week.  There will be someone else to come along and feel they are educating the masses.

(Btw.  Should you go off for a while and can't find the thread, try looking in the off topic or polls and random stupidity section.  They all get moved there sooner or later.)

Ladypact,
I know where a dead horse is buried if you'd like to dig it up and beat it for a while. Lol

.I wonder what was wrong with those two slaves he had in that photo?  hmmmmm...

$2000 a night adds up pretty quick and their booking agent required a $100k deposit up front.

Nah.  I much prefer beating live humans.  They make much more interesting noises and the skin turns better colors.

Unlike boring, rehashed topics such as the original, at least that one has something to do with BDSM.

MasterCsea -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:06:45 AM)

Actually Lucienne, I don't think they made that much and I'm sure I made more than they did! Again. The boat. See the boat? How do you think I paid for the boat?LoL

MasterCsea -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:09:16 AM)

Naw. The horse would have to be able to feel it for it to be BDSM. The live humans definitely.

LadyPact -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:12:24 AM)

Why do I get the feeling there should be a disclaimer on this thread, similar to the ones they have in the credits to movies?

No horses were harmed in the discussion of this thread.

Lockit -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:13:22 AM)

Don't do that! The possum's will want equal treatment!

SweetPoosy -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:14:33 AM)

Well...hail! Y'all are havin' a barbeecue with outen me? Y'all shuda tol' me, I had a coupla javelinas in the back yard early this mornin', we coulda been eatin' real good ternite!

Ummm...may I have some of the chocolate covered popcorn? Or chocolate covered anything for that matter. Except chocolate covered Ron. That would be pretty gross.

Oh, and to reference the OP, I do rather wonder why there isn't a permanant and prominent FAQ page for people when they come over to this side. You must admit that when you first arrive on this side, it can be a bit confuzzling, and the sharp, bitey sort of replies that newbies get tend to make then run away and hide, when they were just trying to be helpful.

Maybe a "Before you post for the first time page?" Something along the lines of, "If you enter Gorean Territory purporting to know about all things GOR, expect to run something akin to the gauntlet of the Sioux before you are thrown out.

"If you want to make a post telling everyone about how to avoid scams, go to the Scam page first, and realize that we DON'T post what we know about scammer profiles, because then they will read it and get wiser."

"If you STILL want to make a post about scammers, please realize that it will lead to a thread about things like 'possum tamales and javelina BBQ...and worse."

"If you want to make a post about how all women/Dommes/subs/slaves on here are just fakes...save it and just request a refund."

There, there's my contribution. I know I sound facetious, but there is a kernal of reality there...we really do need a "before you post for the first time page"...or maybe not. After all, all of these posts do lead to sum purty gud receipts fer 'possum tamales!

If i may offer, you might be taken more seriously if you could post a picture of you, full front, on your boat.  And perhaps more than one - and the less "professional" looking the better.  If you're concerned about privacy you could blur or block out your face and share the "un-edited" version later when you begin to speak seriously with someone.

Honestly, i think i've seen your profile before and i thought it was fake, due to the pro photos, the lack of information, and the existence you offer that some would consider really just a fantasy.  i don't mean to pass judgment, just offering that this is very much how your profile appears.

MasterCsea -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:16:22 AM)

Thank you Uniqueraven. It is kind of hard for me to look less professional since I'm a professional. We actually shot the porn feature on the boat so if anyone was familiar with my work, I didn't think it was necessary to put on a captains uniform and stand on the bow. Also if they weren't into porn, it didn't matter because the fantasy IS what attracted enough applicants to keep me busy for a while. I got hundreds of replies. I was disappointed that most of them on here were scams but i didn't mean to imply that all i got were scams. In fact, between this and the other sites it looks like I have a waiting list. So no worries!

Well, i only use already-kilt possums (i.e. flattened, with tire marks), so i really have no control over how they're treated prior to the tamale-fixin'.  [;)]

Ok, that was just HAWT!!

OP..may I just quote from Monty Python:

"He's NOT the Messiah! He's a naughty boy"!

Yes. Now you've covered it. No real horses were actually harmed in this thread. No sea captains were injured either, I might ad, although harpoons were thrown.

Yay, a sense of humor!  He brings the funny......[;)]

SweetPoosy -> RE: How to Protect Yourself from Scams (1/5/2010 10:21:16 AM)

Now that I've looked at his profile, I have to add a whine that will be familiar..."Why do all of the Masters want anal?"[:o]
