Harpoons?  Hardly.  A clue by four, maybe, but not harpoons.

Dude, if you want to teach something that would be something a little higher than common sense, that would be great.  Heck, if the boat is yours, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that you've got some damn good knot tying skills.  Why not create a post about that?  It's a lot better than assuming that people need to know how to protect themselves about scammers.

Seriously.  Try it.  You'll have rope enthusiasts on both sides willing to talk about bondage all day.

Well you might be right there Ladypact. I do know how to tie knots. Don't need them very much on a boat though. You see if there is any trouble on a boat, it is a LONG walk home.

Soooo...did anyone else get a bit squicked out by this? The thought that I might be in the middle of the ocean on a boat and be given a choice to comply or swim makes me shudder a bit.

Let's face it. There are people everywhere who aren't who they say they are. And there are people in here who aren't really who they say they are either. Really? Nah. Since I've been on here I've heard a little of everything. I am planning to sail around the world in a large sailing yacht and I'm looking for a crew of slaves and a first mate. Easy enough, right? Honest, straight forward, and to the point. I posted it and of course I got a lot of replies. MOST of them were scams. Here are things to avoid.
1. I am in another country and i need you to send me money to come to you. There IS someone from Nigeria on here running at least ten different profiles. Do NOT send money.
2. If the poster says that they are from the U>S>A> and give a U.S. city or town, but say "mum" for mother or list themselves as "Native American" a red flag should go up. As an American, YOU know what the term Native American means but of course foreigners think it means you were born in the U.S.A.
3. If the poster says that they HAVE a master but that the master will sale them to you BEWARE.
a. because such a transaction is illegal and can get you into a world of problems particularly if you wire money(across state lines or out of the country during the commission of a felony-buying somebody) and b. because it probably isn't someone wanting to sell somebody anyway but a scammer wanting you to send them money. After all, what are you going to do when they don't show, tell someone that the slave you paid for didn't show up? Really. And if they really are trying to sell someone, they are probably either cops trying to nail you or Russian mafia that you really don't want to mess with.
4. Use good common sense. If the poster strings you along or says things that make the hair on the back of your neck tingle, walk away.
5. If the poster writes to you or replies to you but makes no mention of anything in your profile or anything that you have written to them, they are probably sending you the same form letter they send to everyone.
6. If all they do is send you their yahoo info, you can be assured that they want to CHAT, not be your 24/7 and if they want money for access to their cam, they are online hookers, not slaves. You may WANT an online hooker. Just don't be scammed into paying for one if you don't.
7.And finally, there might actually be a case where you might actually need to pay for a bus ticket or plane ticket to get a real slave to come to you. Poverty does happen. If that is indeed the case, pay for the tickets by credit card and make them non-refundable. You will still be out money if they have conned you, but at least they won't have gotten a cent. Whatever you do, do not send money to someone you don't know by western union. There is no way to make a western union wire non-refundable as the con people know the system too well.
I hope the above information helps everyone to be alert, be happy, enjoy BDSM, and not get scammed in the process!

Here's the thing on that Lucienne,
I can sail the boat with maybe two other people in fair weather but when it gets a little choppy, it really takes at least five. It really wasn't my dream to sail around the world with a bunch of guys and you really wouldn't want me to do that, now would you? I have everything in the boat and the trip so I can't afford to hire professional sailors so I'll have to train whoever. Chicks are easiy to train if they are already into BDSM and if you've ever been on a boat, you know that things have to all be done a certain way. Besides, its cheap labor! Now if it had been a smaller boat and just you and me, maybe I would have had a shot, hey? LoL
And Sweet Posey, no need to get the heebie jeevies from me at all. It just isn't your thing. No problema. I assure you that I'm a puppy compared to some doms on here. Besides, you aren't even interested so no worries. Right? I do thank you for checking out my profile anyway, wink, wink.

It's a shame, I actually know someone who would love to crew on something like that, except that she isn't into the lifestyle. She just got laid off in December too, and her BF is overseas. Oh well!

So tell me, were those Russian models in that shoot?

You are such a prince.  I can't believe that girls aren't salivating over such an offer.
