Thank you Sappa, I've had this rant pent up for over a month now...
Ya know woman, I rarely meet peeps that I really dislike from the first few words in their post, but you have managed to take my ability to dislike to new highs. Get over yourself, especially when peeps is just havin' a little fun! Sheesh! Swear-to-gawd, the only way I can bear to read your posts is to look for the spelling and grammatical errors which abound, and amuse myself thereby.
(this next one is somewhat related, but also applies to a few people outside of here...)
And what is it with peeps who have Masters degrees or higher, who think they are the shizzle, and love to put down others, but can't even differentiate between to, two, and too, or lose and loose, they're, their, and there or quite, quit and quiet...and don't get me started on voila, viola, walla, and wal-lah, and goddess knows how many other permutations of the word. Then you wonder why your precious fucking degree hasn't gotten you the job of your dreams! Believe me, when you send me your resume to be proof read, I certainly understand why they pass you over. So stop whining about how wonderful you are your degree are, and take a remedial spelling and grammar class, m'kay?
(Note: To everyone for whom English is NOT your first language, I applaud your efforts and abilities, and thank you for communicating with all of us in the language we understand. No, I don't hold your errors against you, English is a confusing language...hell, we can't even agree on how to spell check & cheque; theater & theatre; color & colour and many, many others...so don't worry, this rant isn't against you!
