Yes, but the depth of your understanding and your beautiful soul more that make up for it.

It is unbecoming

A trip to the windy city in August is sounding more and more enticing.

I think reincarnation was invented to get around the problem of crowded heaven theory; this idea that people are going to get recycled into new humans to stop the glut of humanity upstairs. There is a logical problem with reincarnation if you expect heaven to be a place where you'll be reunited with your loved ones for the rest of eternity. It really depends on how quickly they get recycled into new people, you may take so long getting into heaven that the people you love have already been recycled into new people and even if you do get there in time you clearly won't have an eternity with them.

What is the appeal of past lives anyway?

Say for example you found you lived and died in some past life, what that would suggest is that for all eternity you would continue to die and live in this unending cycle of repetition and none of your lives are or any more importance than the last life you lived. If your past lives were of importance you'd be able to remember them but you can't so it adds nothing to your current life. Given the choice between being turned into someone with an entirely different identity to that that I am now or just not existing anymore I think I'd rather just not exist. As at least then it would be clear I was one person not half a dozen different people, I lived at this time and I died and nothing of that continued in any form. Reincarnation cheapens the gift of having one life that is sacred. Why do people worry about murder if all the murderer is doing is pressing the fast forward button on existence?

Reincarnation is a contradiction at the most elemental level because the person you were died and exists no more especially if you can't even remember that person and how different they were from the current person you are. If you were the same person on some level would you really want an eternity of that or an eternity of anything?

You fucking dolts.  You are not worthy to witness what we symbolize.

Jefff and I share something that is timeless.  We have been together through countless trips to this place....

I recall when we worked together at Auschwitz.  I can still picture us holding hands and skipping through the creamatorium. It was a wonderful time, just two crazy love struck kids enjoying every moment that we shared together....

Can we please get back to those fuckers recounting their previous strolls through this world?

Honestly, I would rather not know what I did in a former life to have earned all the crap in this one.

How would it help solve current problems to know I was, oh, I don't know, Lucretia Borgia or Cruella deVille? (I know, that one was made up, but you see my point).

I think you have to do what you have to do to get through life's challenges without using the past life theory, although any sort of self analysis, either now or past is useful to a degree.

I am sooo not going anywhere near the Dumpster.

So are you saying I can't watch...because I already have pre-orders for the DVD.

This will resonate throughout the community!

I wouldnt be at all surprised to find that I was an officer of the Waffen SS and a very committed nazi on the Eastern Front in WWII.

The evidence;

1) I found German very easy to pick up; it wasnt like learning, more like being reminded
2) I have a cruel streak bordering on the sociopathic and yet have full control over this, being able to behave like a god or a beast as I see fit
3) A long and abiding fascination with WWII from the perspective of the nazis
4) An admiration of our Adolf, even though I truly feel he was an utterly flawed character unworthy of any respect and find Mein Kampf the biggest load of crap ever published, and his ideas and policies quite ridiculously evil
5) A strong dislike of the cold
6) An inexplicable feeling of wishing to do great violence to Jewish men who are traditionally dressed; westernised Jews meanwhile have no influence on me at all and I've had some great Jewish friends
7) "Memories" - quite possibly imaginings but associated with genuine feelings of having been there, of the fear, exhilaration, disgust and filth of having been in a war and doing some really terrible things to helpless victims utterly dispassionately
8) A sense of guilt that I really ought not to have and an intense and abiding need to confront and defeat modern nazis wherever they pop up; accompanied, curiously, by a sense that they are unworthy of the description, being idiots

Its all very strange

E

The reason one might look back to where they came from could be to alleviate trauma still affecting the present.

The past is not the past if it is still in the present. Smashing it down, kicking it out because the person does not want to look is a personal choice.

It is not for everyone to be on the same path so we all find our own unique way along our way.

Some people claim looking back is a waste of time, negative, cowardly even, are usually people who are not in love with the idea of emotional expression. Having a presentation of coolness, calmness is more important in these cases usually. Sometimes these people claim they dont feel so called negative emotions. To me, I see a clamped down mind over the emotional body, trying to control the emotions no matter what.

Emotions expressing freely is the ticket. The more one feels to allow this would create chaos and destruction are holding quite a bit down already. I am not saying acting out, I am saying in the privacy of your own car, bedroom where there is the space to go into these feelings alone, or with a trusted someone else, who understands the benefits.

Past life stuff coming up can allow for emotional movement that did not happen then so it can complete itself. Freeing the emotions can create new understandings, compassion and clear the air, the body from the tension required to hold it in however unconsciously.

Let's say I died and felt no one heard my story, let's say I died a horrid death, that being part of my history would mean at some point it would be best if I shine some loving light in there and see what is up.

Doing this all privately is a really good way to ensure someone who is more aligned with holding emotions down and in wont be able to throw out a reflection of intolerance. We all did nasty things, we all have done beautiful things, for the most part we are all trying to be our best to move ahead and have a life we truly want and desire.

Being someone famous in a past life or being a neglected abused slave or peasant is all valid information.

We are very naive as a society about these areas and often act silly, uncomfortable, intolerant and on alert when it is brought up.

I am not worried about all the splits of opinions. People getting called names, made fun of, and all of it, it doesnt matter, it will come out in the light at some point, there is no need to prove anything.

I go by my instincts and like it when others do the same.

My path is my path. I happen to feel and believe that people who can look into the past with the intent to heal themselves from inherited genetics, imprinting that is entrenched in misunderstanding, and the loving space to heal and move all trauma is pretty solid and a good road to go down.
