ORIGINAL: JohnWarren I'm sure, as a trained scientist, you won't mind then telling me what, if any, universe you intend to extrapolate your findings, if you are gathering your data at the nominal, ordinal or interval level and will you be using a .01 or .05 confidence level. Ok that last part went way over my head because I am not a scientist, but I dont understand why storys being used as wank fodder would offend anyone. Is it really so awful to have some one masterurbate to a picture, a post or a story you submit? And if it is, then dont fill out the surrvey, dont post a pic, a profile, or show a pic of your dog on the beach, on the internet, because once it is in the public domain, folks can and will jerk off to it. Sad, strange and true. I guess you have no naughty tales to tell? If you have no issues with sharing kinky stories... post them. I'm wondering why you would rather get into a debate with those that question legitimacy of this survey. Since this is now open for debate I have 2 cents to toss in... I for one will not feed anyone with fluff for their own physical pleasure or better yet... to fill a book & profit from my life experience. If anyone is going to be wanking due to my experience, I plan to be there to see that things "go off" the way I want them to <snicker>!! Or better yet... my name on the cover as the author. No offense to the OP but the way you have expressed your post leads me to believe that you are just looking for kink & that there is no real scientific study involved. I have taken part in many surveys & spoken with several people involved in studies of sexual orientation, human sexuality & related topics. This random gathering of kink presents no basis for scientific study. There presentations always expressed a brief history of the person gathering the information, their credentials & the areas of study they have been involved with. Also included was whether this was a personal study or a thesis. Studies require demographics of persons involved such as age, gender, orientation, income level, geographical location, etc etc etc.
