I currently own the home that I live in, and a house on the same block as me has come up for sale at a good price.  I was considering purchasing this house to use as a slave house.  I would very much like to hear from those who have done similar things, specifically if it was beneficial or detrimental to your relationship with your slave(s)

Thanks

A "slave house" won't make it any easier to get laid.

So do you have the resources to care for all these slaves in this home? Or will they all work and turn their money over to you?

There's a lot to think about here other than just moving a bunch of women into a house and thinking you are now King of the World.

How many are presently in your home? Are there really so many that they need more space? Who gets to stay with you and who gets kicked down the block? And why would the ones kicked out still feel loved and wanted?

Or is this just fantasy, because if so, then no. Buying another house won't get you laid.

After reading a few of your replies, I feel I may have been unclear, particularly with the term "slave house," a better term might be bondage house.

To remove ambiguity, I am not wanting to create a place for a harem, nor do I desire a harem.  I am simply looking to have a place, apart from my primary residence, where activities can occur.  I am sure that many of you have a room or area in your residence devoted to punishment or entertaining, I was thinking  instead of a room, to have a home.

As far as the beneift/detriment question, here is what I am asking:  Was the additional expense worth the separate space and peace of mind that no house guests might ask, "Hey, what's this big wooden X for?"

I hope I have been able to clarify my question and look forward to your replies.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just finish a basement or add a room?  I can't see how the cost of purchasing a new home, taking on more property taxes and everything else that goes along with a second house would be worth it.

An empty house that exists for no other purpose than be a private dungeon?

Wow. I mean, thats great, its like my fantasy of buying a house to use exclusively as my woodworking shop, painting studio, and workout room.

Nice if you can swing it.

I would worry about nosy neighbors wondering who owns the house and calling the police when people unfamiliar with the neighborhood come and go. My first thought to such a house would be a drug house.

I am slightly embarrassed to admit that I had not considered the neighbor factor.  Living in the bible belt this might indeed cause some problems.

Thanks for this insight.

If you were in San Francisco the folks next door would never notice. Here in a nice suburb of Milwaukee it would be a problem.

I think if you can afford it, it would be cool.
Why not rent it out inexpensively to a kink-friendly friend for when you're not in need of it?

Rent a hotel room... no property taxes, no home/lawn maintenance, no insurance;  and bonus, you can probably write-off the costs on your taxes as "Travel & Entertainment" expenses.

Slave Houses or housing slaves without a huge cost 101 depending on the number of slaves to be housed a series of Concrete Slave Kennels each with a lockable iron grill door and a piece of rough blanket to sleep on and another to cover the body. Sounds workable to me but then some will disagree from an aesthetic point of view and I imaging the odd slave probably will disagree because they can't have their telly and other fripperies there.

This is an interesting concept. Especially with those that have vanilla elements of their life that they need to keep separate, those with children especially. Having a locked room in your basement might be the answer, but if you have resourceful teenagers in your home with a high curiosity factor, I think you will be hard pressed to keep it a secret unless you are home all the time.

The other issue raised regarding neighbors could be problematic as well, but that depends on where you live. In rural areas of northern Maine for example, you probably could get away without raising an eyebrow, but try it in the suburbs of Boston and yes, I doubt very much you would go unnoticed.

I like what Kink.com did with the purchase of a large commercial structure. In my area commercial space in old factories and warehouses are a dime a dozen and relatively cheap as well and most with a lot of open floor plans. Again you would have to be selective with the location and the reason for the usage but I have often toyed with this idea myself.

In the end, there are so many factors involved that I don't believe anyone can really render an opinion on what might be right for you. I for one would be interested in what you decide as well as how it lended itself to your situation.

Most of us just put the toys in locked suitcases under the bed and pull them out when we want to play. Turn a stereo on to help cover odd sounds.

the slave house has proven to be an asset. it makes for a place to house slave(s) as well as a place to  keep the "gear".  for my situation it really works out well.

Seriously thinking this over, instead of buying a house wouldn't it be easier to build a small guest cottage in the backyard. Have a large closet which can be locked to put the gear in when family come to visit.

not for me. i live above my business in a downtown area. my backyard is actually a parking lot. the commercial property is a two story building in the old part of downtown. business downstairs, residential flat upstairs.  although the guest cottage does sound cute. and the gear actually takes up a foot locker, a rifle case and two storage bins.

so as i said, a slave house has proven to be an asset. to me
