Every time we have one of these threads, I usually speak up on behalf of two scenes: the diner scene in Pulp Fiction, and the final battle, in Saving Private Ryan. Well, there's one I saw this year that may work its way into the list.

The kitchen scene, from Brothers, with Tobey Maguire, Natalie Portman, and Jake Gyllenhaal; Maguire finally snaps, screaming "Do you know what I did to come back here?!", which leads to the equally gripping scene in the front yard, with him facing the police, had me riveted to the screen.

Lev Saving Private Ryan makes my list too. Only the beginning scene where he's walking down the path...makes me bawl like a 2yr old needing a nap every time.
