My s/o has for many years expressed an intense interest in Victorian tightlacing. She's a bit of a Victorian-era enthusiast, and loves the hourglass waist (or wasp-waist) look on people.
Completely by chance, I stumbled across the fact that tightlacing is practiced in fetish communities. Hence, this topic.
As tightlacing can be very dangerous if not practiced carefully, we seek a corsetiere that can help in measurements, tailoring, and corset recommendations. Are any such businesses available in NYC/NJ/CT?

edit: I've seen the website of LISA (Long Island Staylace Association) and the information thereon. I have come to an understanding that LISA offers some type of corset fitting service. However, their website is straight from 1994 and I can't bring myself to navigate it. Does anyone have further information about LISA's services, http://www.staylace.com/?
