And pluggin in a different type of phone that works with a lower voltage works just fine even if theres a short in the connection.

(My new boss would be proud, Im taking my training to heart >.<) Anywho, sorry for the phone references, its just what we are learning currently at work to keep up to date, but if its multiple cpes... its either the pc... or the connection to.... hardwired works much differently from wifi.. it might be the wifi since it was wpa, the info for that is saved in... if the op mentions what os, theres a way to delete it out... if its vista its network and sharing center > manage wireless networks then click and delete everything in there...

customer premis equipment. Ie The persons router or box for demarcation. (Ie the spot where Verizon is no longer liable, and the customer is)

Pretty much, I also was in school for networking and computer repair, Im ms certified, and now breaking out into tel comm to learn it all because im a greedy mind when it comes to tech work

Every time I've ever called for something they always seem to read from script's. It has never helped.
