Who does one ask or where does one go to find out if the question you ask is going to meet the overall approval of everyone who answers it?

Jeffff -> RE: Questions (1/9/2010 8:25:53 AM)

No, question ever meets anyones overall approval.

A few things anyone should be aware of when they post.

Anyone can answer that post is almost anyway they wish.

The notion of a greater BDSM community should be stricken from their mind immediately.

If you post it, own it.

A thicker rather than a thinner skin is an asset.

Yup, someone said the other day about having to take responsibility for what you put out there. I also think learning how to phrase what you ask in a certain way is helpful, for example the post you are talking about, the should people without profiles be allowed here, could have been worded in a better way, you made an assumption about the site was for which actually isn't how everyone uses the site, establishing that first would have been better,

xxblushesxx -> RE: Questions (1/9/2010 8:41:29 AM)

You can start by reading the forums.

Go back a ways.

See which threads get jumped on, and which get general agreement or at least thoughtful answers.

You will get thoughtful answers (which may or may not agree with your stance) if you ask a question that has been well thought out, and isn't a "my way is the only way" type thread.

IronBear -> RE: Questions (1/9/2010 8:56:55 AM)

The answer is quite simple really. Ask your question to a mirror, this way you are reasonable sure to have both a captive audience and one which will agree with you 100% unless of course you have multiple personalities which are in conflict with each other. If that is the case you are just fucked.

Lucienne -> RE: Questions (1/9/2010 9:20:27 AM)

Me. I am the person to ask. Each answer costs $2.50.

Jeffff -> RE: Questions (1/9/2010 9:21:44 AM)

Can I get an incorrect answer for less?

You can ask whatever question you wish to ask.  Others may answer your question in any way they wish to answer.  That's the rules.

If you ask a question that others find confrontational, as in questioning a segment of the members' right to be here, then you are going to get answers that reflect that holier than thou way the question was written.

Your new post borders on being snarky.  If that was your intent, then you accomplished your mission.  If it was not your intent then you may get snarky answers as your post appears snarky.  It's only fair.

May I give you a call and ask you one question a minute?

No. You must choose between the fixed and the hourly rate. $2.50 per question, or $250 per hour (.10 increments).

Is this question sarcasm or for real. Either way I'm probably gonna laugh a little inside.[:D]

littlewonder -> RE: Questions (1/9/2010 11:17:38 AM)

If you don't like the answers, ignore them...or maybe...just maybe...take the answers given and even if you disagree with them, take something from them that maybe you can use or at least think further about.

Or...you can just ignore the ones you don't like.
