Hi there,

I have to say as longer I am on this forum as weirder my thoughts seem to get...the reason why I am posting this now is as at work (I am involved working with clients with disabilities or illnesses sometimes) I have a client who has underneath his cushion at his chair and underneath his mattress as well and alarm-pad (whatever it is called correctly) which means we get alert via a signal tone if he unexpectedly gets up (he barely does but for health and safety reasons we have to be aware about it if he get up to move around as he isn't very fit anymore to walk unaided).

So whilst supporting him I was sometimes wondering if anyone is using any of such items for their training with their subs/slaves...e.g. some Masters I am in touch with use chains every night as their rule and some use it sometimes....so I was wondering if someone uses this or other forms of alarm button to ensure that their sub/slave stays where they are supposed to stay...just wondering as I know that some are pretty strict indeed in regards to TPE and such equipment might make it easier, so I thought to ask

He'd be getting up three times a night if he did that. I was in and out of the bathroom all last night! lol

Chains are more tactile and more fun, but I can see using this if the person can't sleep with a chain on.

I think that it could be more useful to use one that just recorded the when's of a person getting up, instead of sending an alarm.

I simply think sometimes, when I work with him, that tools like this would be ideal for a Mistress/Master if (s)he still has a less obedient/experienced slave or sub and (s)he insists him/her staying at one place, as with equipment like this (s)he would hear when (s)he would get up even when (s)he would be at a different floor or room in the same house...because even when you undo the alarm box from the pad it sends off an alarm noise...

And as I said, it is not just for the bed, for the person I work with it is used on his armchair in the lounge as well...but I agree DesFIP, if anyone would do that with me at night time he would punish himself big time as I turn around quite a lot anyway with my fibromyalgia and it can go off by turning around as well...

you could also set up motion sensors. they are available at lowes depot etc. you can get them by  themselves or with light attached.

i do sometimes use a shock collar for training dogs. thats always fun.

there are a vast aray of medical ites available to use just be wary and know what it is and was used for. the bed/chair alarms can be set to give a audible alarm or just a signal to a monitor. for a bed or chair it can be placed in such a way as to alarm if the person gets up or moves from the center of the bed or end of it if you want to train a sub/slave to stay there at night

If an Orwellian type TPE relationship is what you're looking for, then medical isn't the only place to look.

Portable monitor for EMG, ECG, GSR, temperature, respiratory volume, etc.; tells you state of mind, state of health, and hints about guilt, etc. Large numbers of cheap, hidden webcams from DX; tells you where they are and what they do, every moment of the day. GPS tracker with GPRS mobile phone and mic; relays information and location when they're out. Magnetic door locks that resist the level of force they can summon without being in a state of panic; keeps them from moving where they are not allowed to go, except in case of fire or burglary or the like, yet allows others in. Electric fence. Subdermal RFID chip. Alarms. Remote controls. Whatever.

I personally don't think I could get anything out of that kind of control over an extended period of time.

But I'm guessing there's plenty of people who would enjoy it on a session basis.

Health,
al-Aswad.
