This lot have just been on TV - the "Apple Party" parodies the neo-nazis who are growing in numbers in the old DDR, with the idea being that humour is an excellent way to expose and undermine the right wing crazies.

I'm pretty sure we dont have anything like this in the UK - I'm not sure it would work (or that it works in Germany?) given our homegrown version of neo-nazis make a fool of themselves without any outside help. What about in the US I wonder?

A suitable way to counter the far right?

I sense an impending argument that Nazis were, and the current neo-Nazis are, really on the left.

LadyE, we have "skinheads" in the U.S. who I guess wear swartzstickers but I've never seen any in real life.
When I lived in New Hampshire I did see some Ku Klucks Klan guys one time in bed sheets holding up signs on the side of the road to passing vehicles in from of a small shopping center that had a biker place in it who's owner was notorious for doing stuff like that.
I had a Ford pick-up truck then, real nice one with all the bells and whistles and I kind of,...pulled real close to them as I went by.
I guess they have a lot of KKK up in W. Virginia, "Senator Robert Bird country" but that's 8-9 hours inland from Myrtle Beach, S.C.
We see a lot of confederate flags around here but it's more "heritage" than racist. I even bought some confederate flag coffee cups to give out as gifts when I went up to N.H. on vacation last August.
I've never seen any of those nazis in real life, probably a good thing too. I carry a gun.
