See, but this is the double-standard you see everywhere between the parties. A republican cheats on his wife or some such thing, and he's forced to resign by his own party. The republican party is SUPPOSED to be a party of morals and the like. They generally (not always) hold themselves to a much higher standard and because of that higher standard, the consequences of such digressions is much greater. A democrat does it and it's all good. It's not a big deal. Glenn Beck makes a few mistakes, and y'all call for his balls on a platter, but quite a few of the appointees and potential appointees for Obama's cabinet owe hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes, and it's all okay. Harry Reid says something rather racist, but it's okay because Obama forgave him. BUT...if someone like Trent Lott said something about a known segregationist (2002), they want to gank him out of his position. The list really does go on and it's sickening. Is Glenn Beck unaccountable for his mistakes? Of course he should be held accountable. The question is then, who else should be taken aside and forced to be held accountable?
