In answer to aimtoplease's queary. It was a number of things. The completeness of his initial contact, outlining what he was searching for, his experience, what he was drawn to by my profile, questions about My fetishes and My perferences. His message was well thought out, grammatically correct and lacked any hint of disrespect.
I have to admit I find messages with the phrases "please use me," "no limit slut," and "live only to serve You," in initial contacts annoying. This is because no self-respecting Mistress/Domme would consider using someone based upon a note that reads like a description on a cheap porno. I often respond to the claim of "no limit slut" with the statement that I have a castration fantasy I'd like to live out, when could they meet with Me to satisfy it. I find the declaration of living only to serve Me insulting in the extreme. I do not wish or desire the service of someone who does not have the intelligence, presence of mind, or class to first get to know Me. This is the ultimate announcement of a totally clueless individual.
I also found his honesty about past bad experiences and his misgivings We discussed prior to meeting refreshing. It made him a real person in My eyes, before I'd ever met him.
So in short, the things that most influence Me is honesty, realism, curiosity and the willingness to invest "getting to know" time, as much as needed to establish a framework of understanding.
