PLEASE... If you are a praying person, PLEASE do so for the people there. And if you are so inclined, a donation to the International Red Cross, can always help.

Well I wont be praing for them, but I am ready with the visa card when a good organisation gets in to gear and starts taking donations. Red Cross i saw enough of in my 20 years in Africa. More than 3/4 of the money they get in donations go to admin and other crap. Much as i dislike the catholics, i am aware that when they start a local collection for something in a foreign country, the money, every cent of it, is tranmitted free of charge via the Vatican banking system to a local parish in the affected area.

Alternately, consider donating to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).  They already have 800 people in country and nearly 90% of their donations actually make it to the end recipients unlike some charities who eat up 50% or more of donations with "administrative expenses".

Donate to MSF-USA.

I second the suggestion of Doctors Without Borders.
Usually the first in and the last out.

Ok guys, i guess what i was trying to do, is just suggest help for them. Of course the suggestion of the red cross, was just that, a suggestion.  Whatever Y'all feel lead to do, is what i'm saying...That may be prayer, or service, or both.
