Sorry, but I don't think I need to take constitutional advice from somebody who's not intelligent enough to know the difference between "They're" & "there", and "You're" & "your."

housesub4you...I'm totally not understanding you....Gays and lesbians are people as are all races and they have the same inherent individual rights they are not excluded in the constitution. You don't have to buy anything its free...Its just a class that teaches all about the constitution and if you live in the u.s. then you will want to see it....I am neither Rep or Dem as they are both on the same team....Don't wanna watch thats your choice.

If you want people to watch an 8 hour long youtube video, giving a link and saying its a must watch is a no no, it might work if the video is around 10 min long but no one in their right mind will watch 8 hours of video with just the info "it is about the constitution and a must watch".
Summarize what he's saying, whats wrong with the government and why it isn't a democracy etc, then maybe you will get someone to watch it.

What I'm trying to figure out is what qualifies a computer programmer as a Constitutional expert?

His own self-study?

Does that mean he would be comfortable with someone who taught himself computer programming filling in for him while he is out giving these lectures?

Meh.. it's pretty much garden-variety Libertardian ramblings. Not too far removed from Zeitgeist's anti-government conspiracy lunacy.

Every forum group abides by the same netiquette, some examples would be to not go into a thread and try to derail it while theres an active discussion going on(yes going into "left wingers losing their seats?" and writing demo/rep are the same blablabla and go ranting about something that hasn't anything to do with the current thread is seen as derailing it and even trolling) another would be to not post an 8 HOUR!? long video with no explanation more than that this is a must watch and then go apeshit when people dont want to watch it.
Think about it if I link you an 8hour long video and say this is the truth would you watch it?
How do you like it if your trying to have a discussion with someone about something and suddenly some random guy pops in with an totaly unrelated argument.

Cm also abides by these netiquette rules and you will get the same "hostile" attitude towards you in most other forums.

rulemylife: Most good programmers and those that gets anywhere with it are pretty much self taught, so in this particular situation he would be pretty comfortable with it

Watched 8 episodes, he's entertaining and very informative (though some bits of his history is off) I am too tired to continue watching it so I may get to some more of it later...or not.
So far I have no particular beef with what he said, but a few of his ideas are wrong, for example his statement that if you get the MSO for your cat you don't need to register it or get a license to drive it...he's right, except that the State owns the public roads and since it is state property they make the rules and can require you to register your vehicle and get a license to drive it on their roads (you can do whatever you want on your own property - as anybody who grew up on a farm driving a tractor at age 12 can attest).
That's all for now, I may post more if I watch more.

Understanding our US Constitution is generally a good idea. Few americans have a thorough understanding of such, and without that knowledge have willfully made themselves powerless.

8 hour movies, however, are likely not the best way to reach an unbiased understanding. I recommend reading the annotated version. This has the decisions of the US Supreme Court relating directly to the court's interpretation and application of the law. It doesn't get any more accurate or on point than that.

Don't take the opinion of anyone else. Read it for yourself AND read how the court interprets it.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about watching an eight hour documentary on my government.  Chances are I'd fall asleep.  I need someone exciting to keep me engaged...

SL4V3M4YB3...Being in the uk it might not interest you...I keep forgetting that other countries have the internet too...lol...But if you believe in freedom, liberty individual inherent rights for everyone it might do you some good.

Precisely why is this of any interest to anybody outside of the 'States?
