FYI...Good news, erin called this evening, her recovery is going very well and barring anything unsual happening, she should get to come home sooner than originally thought.

Hello all, Just a short note to say that thankfully, I am home and recovering in my own bed. Yay!!! I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of your thoughts, prayers, get well wishes, calls, cards and visits. I will never be able to express to you how much it has meant to me to know that I have so many wonderful people in my corner. Also, an apology to anyone I may have spoken with who found me to be less than coherent in my Morphine induced haze...lol. A couple of weeks ago I experienced a life threatening emergency that required extensive surgery. I will be at home recovering for some time to come and also preparing myself for more extensive surgery that lies before me in the months ahead. I continue to ask for you to keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I am told I still have a long, rough road ahead of me. Once again, thank you all....you folks are just the greatest and I feel so blessed to be in the thoughts of such a wonderful group.
