CarrieO -> Photo Problems (1/13/2010 8:57:03 PM)

I've been trying to change my main profile photo and am having trouble getting the old photo to not show once I've uploaded the new one.

I removed all the photos...primary/additional 1 & 2...and tried to start all over again but once the new pics were uploaded, I still only saw the old ones I had deleted.  I logged off and logged back in thinking that, for some reason, might make a difference.

UGH!!!!   What am I doing wrong?

Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone offer some suggestions or advice on how to get this to work?

Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm.....I forgot about that.[sm=doh.gif]

Maybe I'll tackle this in the morning....thanks.

Edited to add.....Why would my old profile photo show up but stretched to fit the size of the new photo?  I wonder if I've just played with Photoshop/Lightroom too much.

Even if the new photos are ones that have already been CM approved, the time it takes to propagate the servers varies ... at best. Sometimes it is nearly immediate, sometimes it takes hours, to a full day to be able to see them once you click on your profile. Just be patient, they will show up.

The photo process changed more than 6 months ago... if I were ambitious, I would dig up the thread, but I'm not.

This seems to be the only site where I have problems with a stale cache, but I do.  You need to clear it.  On my browser it's Tools, Delete Browsing History, Delete All.  If that doesn't do it, reboot.
