FR- For me, that would be a no go. The man and I are both bed hogs and don't live together. When we do spend the night, it can get a bit uncomfortable. Both used to sleeping in the middle and not "cuddlers" when we sleep, he snores like freight train and I often have to get up to go to the bathroom at least once a night. He also likes to sleep with the light and the radio both on, and I like dark and quiet. Usually the compromise is the radio goes off because he knows that it is difficult for me to shut my brain off sometimes. He says that he needs the light to see if he gets up in the night. It's a small house and the bathroom is less than 10 feet away. After a year, he should be able to find it, lol. The other night, for some reason, the radio stayed on and the light was out. You know what? It was too fucking dark when I got up to use the bathroom! Those are the types of things I hate him being right about, lol. Anyway, even with all those "obstacles" he would never ask me to sleep on the floor. It's just not something that would occur in our relationship, or any relationship I had. I have, however, on occasion considered getting up and going to sleep on the couch so we each had a little more of our own "space" and slept better. But because we both have schedules that prevent us from spending the night more than once a week usually, I never do because even with those problems, I love knowing he is only a few inches away and I can reach out and touch him. That's the worst part of our scheduling issues is not having enough time to touch him.
