Welcome to the forums! Best advice I can give you is take your time, spend a few days reading the forums, and when you think you've got a firm feel for the vibe, join in on a few conversations. When you have questions, the best starting point is to do a search for recent threads on the same topic. Even if those threads don't really answer your questions, it at least allows you to ask a somewhat more informed question of your own, and perhaps also to better understand the answers your thread will generate. Be respectful, sincere, and consistent on your forum postings, try not to make unfair assumptions about the people with whom you may be debating, and keep in mind that when in doubt about someone's meaning, it's always better to ask one more clarifying question than to assume they meant something negative or insulting. You'll become known by the way you conduct yourself in the discussions, for better or worse. Another suggestion I would make is to fill out your profile in a little more detail as soon as you have a more comfortable idea of what you want to say. You've got a nice picture up, with no unmade beds, overflowing trash cans, punched-out walls, or animal carcasses in the background (you'd be amazed), so that's a plus. You've got a nice assortment of interests listed, painting a comprehensive picture of a pair of well-rounded people, so all you need to do next is add some more details to fill out the picture a bit and give people an idea of what you're looking for. So welcome, and have fun. We're mostly a decent bunch of people, with a few exceptions, which you'll figure out along the way. Sunshinemiss and MzMia are the nicest people here, Jefffffffff is the funniest, DcNovice and Kirata are the smartest, and I'm the best hockey player. And I'll cross check anyone who says otherwise.
