Being in a cage isn't the interesting or memorable thing. Most of what we get up to is only super-duper because it's him and me.

Well of course. I was being facetious.
When you are with someone you care about, any and everything is all good.
Even watching paint dry, but that would be stretching it.

To be honest I think of cages as a bit of a space consumer and would prefer to convert something like an under stairs cupboard than have one standing against my wall.


A net can serve the same purpose as a cage, and is easy to store or hide away when not in use.

I haveboth a rather large standing up cage, and a large wire cage. What the subs have told me is how its their safe quite place that helps them center themselfs befor play..or even just after a bad day.

I think the cage idea has a couple of intense feels for some .The idea of comfining someone is a big turn on for so many out here that are subs /slaves . Some doms see it as what good is a slave who is not performing or working to please their MAster or mistress.. The intensity of a collar with a chain can be pretty intense for many out here and still allows the sub /slave to move around some what .. For example ,, there is gear out here that keeps someone from walking standing up or moving freely with shackles .. A cage just makes it less complicated for some and I gather follows the fantasy of confinement to its end.

mmm... hot, Kyra. I do wonder about getting claustrophobic, which is an issue of mine. Sometimes I can even get that panicky feeling when just bound tightly, but not often. But I think because the cage is see-through, I'm very attracted to the idea. He's left me tightly chained to a wall in a small room and left the room, coming back in at intervals to tease, and I went into such a gorgeous space during that time. The idea of confinement really gets to me in a good, intriguing way.

Well a mink lined floor, a 50 inch flatscreen, an internet connection and an unlimited supply of Belgian chocolates would probably get you in there.[:D]

Another time he put me in the cage, he had it suspended from the chains in the dungeon. It was actually very soothing because I could rock the cage and relax. He would put me there in between tormenting me during a weekend long play. For the most part I was continually restrained in some way throughout the weekend.

I do not get claustrophobic in the cage and I usually find it very comforting.

Was going to post saying that Master and i aim to get one of the fold up puppy cages this year...... Something that He knows i have been lusting over for a long time....

My experiences with cage have been limited but nice. One of the places where I play publicly has a cage that I like to crawl into after a scene if it's not being used. It's nice to curl up in there with the door shut, maybe snuggle another sub/slave. I haven't had the chance to play a scene involving a cage yet. Perhaps in the future. [:)]

i have been caged and loved the feeling of complete dependency on Sir. Loved being toyed with through the bars, simlar to what kyra explained. There is just something about being so confined.. add some sensory deprivation to the mix, or a place to go to for a punishment scenario... been many years since i was caged.

i have been locked in a wire type dog cage a number of times, once overnight. The fantasy of being caged is much different that the reality. I found it uncomfortable and humiliating. To me it is a type of punishment more than anything else..

I don't particularly like being uncomfortable either, nor does he punish me with it. It's just an activity that we do now and then and it's always been a positive one for us both........or we wouldn't bother with it.

Until this past summer, I'd never had any experience with cages. Didn't hate or fear them, but wasn't really interested in being in one either. I am claustrophobic, but not really badly so. I can handle it for the most part.

A trusted friend has a cage that is standing in only and asked me if I'd be willing to get in it for play. I agreed and just wow! It is counterbalanced and he had it rocking and would bring it way down and stand it back up with me in it. He used tuning forks and claws on me while I was in it, he talked to me, worked with me. It was quite an experience.

There is a different head space for me in a cage and it's hard to describe it. I definitely look forward to the next opportunity to get into it. Is it something I am deeply into now, a must have? No, but it is a treasured experience and something I would like to do from time to time with him. I have a lot of trust in and respect for him. It's not something I would do with just anyone because of the head space it put me in.

I have another friend who makes toys and furniture (furniture is by commission) and one of the furniture items he makes is a cage that is also a bondage/play table, very different from the cage I was in. It looks great and with the right person, I would get into it. It would be an entirely different thing and cage experience though than the other one.

I find handcuffs do nicely for any need to keep me in one place. Much easier to discreetly hide also.

Cages are not for me. I mean it is fine for some but not our style. If i was cged master could not cudle me (i keep him warm), cold not play with me, at least not the way he likes to play with me. It is not my kink. However if Master wanted to try it i would do it to make him happy, i love to see him happy. Not something i would do on a regualr basis, just not my thing.

My experiences are similar to this, so I'm a fan. We don't have one, tiny apartment in the city means barely enough room for a bed, but someday perhaps.  I don't particularly like the idea of being left there for long periods of time, I would probably get bored as others have mentioned, but in terms of active playing, it's pretty damned sexy.  Oh and yes, lots of comfy blankets and whatnot is important, I'm too old to do it any other way, I'd be hobbling around for a week as a result of kneeling on a metal or grate floor for any length of time.
