I always wondered, while Batman and Robin were hanging off the line from the helicopter with the shark below them ... if the lousy acting was part of the comedy or if it was merely lousy acting was part of the show.

I'm kinda ashamed to admit it, but bein' a fan of the sitcoms of that decade-ish I'd say the bad acting was part of an era . . . . .

I just want a can of Bat Shark Repellent.  [:D]

My favorite scene from the entire series...

Oddly, that's not really more ridiculous that Avatar. Unobtainium, harumph.

I enjoyed Avatar!  A chick flick with action and mayhem, what's not to love?

I've long wondered how my love for the Batman series and my kinkiness are intertwined.

Oh, the acting, the kitsch, the stupid jokes, everything was well planned.  Kind of like the Austin Powers movies.  Nothing short of a masterpiece.  Why?  Because they set out to make something entertaining to watch, without it being good.  They actively tried to make some of the worst tripe imaginable, and refused to take themselves seriously for even a split second.  And they succeeded to a degree that few could even comprehend. :)

Oh, my, gawd, that's one of my favorite parts of Avatar -- unobtainium (which is clearly a subset of applied phlebotinum)!

Everytime I heard that, unobtainium, all I could think was that Cameron hadn't finished the script & that was the working name for the substance until he came up with a better one . . . . & then he must have gotten distracted . . . . lol
