Funny, I found Spock to be the sexier of the two.  Distant, cerebral and logical.  Tell me that isn't HOT (snickers)

Spock - first man I ever loved.  Always felt like he would be totally unfazed by any craziness.  I love that in a man.

You probaly liked the skimpy outfits Barbara Eden was wearing she was so cute.

The evil "twins" in both shows always came off to me that they had all the fun and I'd like to think of them as switches...I just don't thing they were dominant, but not totally submissive either.  Just a hunch...

If you go behind the scenes that where the kink really was and Bewitched won hands down on that. Dick S, Paul Lynde, Endora were all gay. There is probably more, but i don't remember. The twins that played Adam were supposedly the love child of Tony Curtis who wanted nothing to do with them. If you watch the show as Adam gets older you will see that how much they look alike. Last but not least least Dick York lusted after Elizabeth and would make unwanted advances to her. If you see her in interviews when she was still alive she will talk fondly ablut Dick S, and say almost nothing about Dick York.

My [sm=2cents.gif]:

I liked to watch Bewitched because Paul Lynde was so funny and Elisabeth Montgomery was so beautiful. Even as a child, I could never understand why she was with him- he was such a fuddy-duddy and not attractive at all (to the pre-adolescent me).

Jeannie, on the other hand- Major Nelson was sooo cute and, little did I know why then, I loved the whole "being owned" thing. I couldn't understand why he wasn't sleeping with her (yes, I was precocious). I still love it - if you look at our couple profile you'll see we even did the whole outfits for Halloween a couple of years ago.

As for Batman- wow! I so wanted him- even when I was 5 or 6 I remember wanting to be Catwoman so I could be be with Batman (Julie Newmar, not Eartha Kitt) . Yes, I know she never got him, but she was soooo much hotter than Batgirl.

Also, I was a Spock girl. I thought Kirk was too much of a grand-stander and player. If a man like Spock loved you- then you really deserved to be loved and it would never falter. (Much like my rl Master)

And, speaking of 60's TV hotties- Adam Cartwright. nuff said.

....well some people are choosy about their Dicks...

The thing with Spock though, is you only got sex once in 7-years: that was the bad news.  The GOOD news was he was going to fuck you like his life depended on it!  So all things work out..just make sure you're in the same quadrant at 6-years and 11-months or else...

hejira92 -> RE: "I dream of jeannie" vs. "bewitched" - kink factor (1/23/2010 11:11:08 AM)

Somehow, in my fantasies, I fixed that little detail. You see, he HAD to have sex every 7 years, that didn't mean he COULDN'T the rest of the time. And it is only logical to keep your partner emptionally and physically happy....

Hey, I was a kid. it worked for me. [:D]
