Status: offline 		They harvest organs in China.....  and Israel supposedly stopped in the 90s.   There is a market in organs at any cost.  Enter now Monsanto  with its round up now destroying human organs.

Transplants save lives. It is so hard to dispel half the fucking myths that are out there already ("If  you're in a traffic accident and an EMT knows you are an organ donor, they will just let you die") and other senseless bullshit.



We dont' check driver's licenses just DNR paperwork.

Frankly- for some there will be opportunity.    Knowing the details of such is the puzzle. So- I would like to be the one who benefits from the changes, good bad or otherwise- if I conduct my life in a strategic way- then I could benefit. (as can family and friends)

Gets a bit messy though if there is a sudden shift in the wind. Instead of landing right in the patient, one of the OR staff could get splattered with the darn thing.

That's why i left the transplant field. I got a liver stuck up my nose.
Had a hell of a time getting it out.
The liver regenerates itself, ya know.
As soon as i thought it was gone...it'd grow back.
But it wasn't as bad as a co-worker who got a face full of small bowel.
"Shitface" is one of those nicknames ya never really live down.

First, an organ must be harvested within minutes of the death of the donor. Secondly, it must be transplanted within a limited time frame, and kept at proper temperature and oxygenated in the interim.
