Status: offline 		I have spent months researching, in dark and ancient texts of the occult. I have studied long hours over historical theses of every culture and immersed myself in knowledge and wisdom from across the world.

And now, here, I can reveal to you all the ancient magical rite, most efficacious in divination, that will show you the face of the one who governs the world that daily now oppresses you.

Little equipment is needed; no candles, no robes, no incense - all that is needed is an ordinary mirror. And no complex rite or incantation in ancient tongue is required, to make your mirror so potently charged that it shall reveal the identity of this tyrannical malefactor readily unto your gaze.

Simply stand before your mirror. Relax, take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes, and repeat three times, in a slow and steady voice "show me the one who governs my world". Do not be afraid, for the presence you summon shall not harm you unless you permit it.

Then open your eyes and behold - the face of your oppressor.

Awweeeee.  That is sweet of you.

Frankly- in a lot of ways I have a good amount of freedom in my life.  Last night I sold 2 mattress sets here- amazing- I got $120 for used ones.  :-)   That leaves a nice pillow queen and a quality twin set- - I arranged the Pine room more like a living room now.
....those mattresses-  one I paid $40 for a a thrift store- and the other came from a dumpster.     I will never figure out people.   ..so now I am looking at all the space here and potential.      I hate when things break.. anyhow- I have to get into to putting my house together more....

Status: offline 		If these people are indeed as powerful, manipulative and evil as its suggested, then what on Earth good does it do to rail against them, fret and worry about them, concern yourself to the point of illness with their acts and intentions? You have no means whatever to do a damned thing about any of it, if they truly exist in the way its portrayed.

You can only affect, and be affected by, that which is within your event horizon. Of course, outside influences can and do enter that horizon, but your response to them is limited by it just as their effects are translated to you through it. This makes you all powerful in your event horizon, or at least it can.

That is a pretty bold statement considering Israel is about to bomb Iran.

.....maybe I am unfixable, low quality, un-mateble and hopelessly a home wrecker.   There is no fix for me.   ..as to a partner- I am too old for that.  

As to envy- I will ponder that - as that would be an unflattering trait.

Lady E.,   you make a compelling point.

Lets factor that this power grab  - is not all of a sudden.  If you go back to 1968, the slide began in some mode there.  So bit by bit we evolve into the NWO. 

--we all take the path of least resistance. ..and construct our world accordingly.

Jenny - does not have a checking account- she uses money orders.  So she has done something about it. 

To best manage our life- one has to know what is truly going on.   If one can be slightly ahead of the curve one can survive better.

the world sucks, its a blatantly unfair place where some have much, many have some and even more have little or nothing. it is human nature (which you may or may not describe as evil) that says that those at the top would prefer to stay there and will do all that they can to do so, according to the power they may draw on.

what we have is not a gigantic world conspiracy, but the cumulative effects of millions of the most advantaged each doing all in their power to stay on top, faced not only with changing circumstances but also the competition of the rest in trying to remove them and replace them. and further down the pile we see the same cumulative effects, of billions this time, to the same end. there is no one in charge, still less anyone who has control - for if that were the case then we'd all know about it - because even at the top its a fight for survival.

it is also human nature to try to make sense of this chaos, to try to understand and form patterns that will discern order out of it. and this is where I see you are - a bright guy trying to make sense of it all, but coming to the wrong conclusions, making the wrong connections between people and events, forming a pattern that settles your idea of order from it. and as youve found, youre not alone in drawing conclusions that are so indicative of some guiding hand - that simply isnt there, and in its obvious absence provides fertile ground for all manner of conspiracy theories which yes can fit the facts, yes can be entertaining and satisfying, but are regrettably quite unfounded.

We cant fix a problem if we do not know it exists.

The only way to do so- is to identify the problem.

Also- we reached a point where traditional redress has  been ineffective.   So- when there is no redress with in the system- one then has to go outside of the system.

And it is important to note that TARP changed everything.   What started off as 700 billion is now 24 trillion- with no end in sight.

I very much  disagree with your assessment.

Unless you haven't changed your age with your birthdays accordingly, you think 46 is too old for a relationship?  And only YOU can decide whether or not to "fix yourself." That's what Lady E.'s point was, I think.

24 trillion is more than our entire GDP (14 trillion or so), or the EU's (15 trillion or so).
