Tamoko -> Master Profile feedback (1/23/2010 7:21:11 AM)

It was suggested that if I wanted the best quality feedback, it should be from my target market, so to speak, rather than other Doms. I've gotten their POV on this, I would love to hear from the subs and slaves.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

the above is taken from one of your responses on your thread in the Ask a Master section with regards to your relationship with your girlfriend...it stood out as something that you might consider including in your profile.

Yeah, if that's not on your profile it needs to be so that people know what they are looking at.

For some people, not being looked at as an equal is a huge plus.

For me, it's a major "stay the hell away".

"and she needs to be healthy enough to live at least as long as I do."

This struck me as kind of odd. While I can understand that you want someone who takes care of herself physically, when I read this I had an image in my mind of a slave on her death bed feeling guilty because she had cancer or some other uncontrollable illness. If my Master had told me that he expected me to live at least as long as he does, I know that I would feel horrible for not being able to fulfill that were I to get a terminal illness. [:(]

I would suggest just emphasizing that you want someone who is physically active and healthy.

and lacking in logic...because "healthy" isn't always a guarantee of long life...as well as the chronically "unhealthy" sometimes live a lot longer than their otherwise "healthy" partners who die suddenly.

Didn't you get any good feedback from the thread you started in Ask a Master 3 days ago?  Was that advice lacking in that you felt the need to start a new one here on the very same topic of your profile?   Excuse me, but are you merely trying to keep people checking out your profile in the forums?  Do you really need more advice than you have already recieved?

Quite frankly, submissive read and reply in the Ask a Dominant forum so one thread served your whole purpose.

You have a good point. My intention was just as you suggested. I will adapt my profile to reflect that I want someone who is healthy and active.

Peppermint : You have a valid point as well. Yes I some great feedback, including that I should also post in this forum.

I'm sorry Tamoko.  I must have missed where you were referred to this forum in your other post wanting feedback on your profile.  What I remember is everyone saying you had a very good profile that needed no changes.  I was curious as to why you do not believe the other posters in the Ask a Master forum and needed further conformation.

I can understand someone saying you should have posted your original in this forum instead of the other, however, people are not usually advised to break TOS and double post.

No worries Peppermint. I hadn't thought of it in terms of a double-post, but you have a point.

I just realized you live in AZ too! haha we might end up running into each other at a munch sometime soon.

We don't travel to the Phoenix area for munch.  Driving 250 miles to a munch is a bit far for us to go.  However, if you are ever in Yuma we have a munch and a coffee every month.
