Has anyone been on satin bedding and if so do you know what kind of satin bedding to get and how much to spend on them? when i looked online they have differents satin names and not sure what is the better one to get and how they hold up on sleeping and doing other kinky stuff?

I don't like satin sheets personally for sleeping on because of leg stubble. Unless my legs are clean shaven each night (yeah like that will ever happen..) I get an annoying sensation on my legs when I move them plus I get staticky. If it is just for frolicking though they can feel nice. My favorite set is a blend of cotton and bamboo.

Sorry that wasn't especially helpful!

I bought Satin sheets off of Amazon for about $40 and they looked great but wasn't too fond of the touch.

Its the thread count even with satin that makes them durable. They stain very easily ,I do enjoy them but for "those" moments I have switched to silk sheets.Good Luck

Male view.

On the first hard thrust, you shoot backwards off the bed.

Lack of grippage.

Ha! That gave me a great visual.

You can buy synthetic satin and organic satin (made of cotton for example) If a fabric is woven in a specific way, it's called satin, regardless of the material the fabric is made of. Synthetic satin can feel very uncomfortable. Satin made of cotton has a very nice shine to it (less than synthetic satin) but feels very comfortable.
I have cotton satin bedding, made from egyptian cotton. It wasn't cheap, but not  expensive either.

I personally don't like satin sheets. You end up sliding all over the place. I prefer towels. They soak up any excess liquids and can be easily cleaned and stay in place.

SexyMandi,

I know this thread is old - sorry bout' that but if anyone is still interested, I have tried and tried and tried all different brands from many places and finally found what I think is perfect:
http://www.satin-boutique.com/King-Size-Sheet-Set-of-silky-soft-600-TC-True-Lingerie-Satin-7E-Easily-accommodates-up-to-14-Mattress-IN-STOCK-p-17210.html

I have about 10 sets in all sorts of colors and they are awesome! Plus, the owner, David, is a good guy so he's nice to do business with.

Prior to finding these, I had bought some silk/cotton blend sheets from Bed Bath and Beyond which were great, but they were expensive ($500 a set) and, alas, have been discontinued.

Cheers.

Personally, my favorite sheets are a set of nice, 300 threadcount Egyptian cotton. I've tried various sorts... flannel (good for winter but very "grippy", I tend to get tangled up in the fitted sheet... yes, the fitted sheet... I toss and turn that much... so they won't stay on my bed.), teeshirt material (comfy but the same problem! Waking up with the fitted sheet wrapped around your legs? Not fun.), polyester-cotton (average). Egyptian cotton with a high thread count gets the soft, silkiness I like without getting entangled around my limbs, without feeling TOO silky.

Satin sheets sound inconvenient.

I bought some cheap satin sheets off ebay from China for like 25 bucks.  Once they've been washed a few times to break them in, they soften up quite a bit.  Mine are starting to get holes after 2 or 3 years and being washed weekly, but they just feel better and better over time.  I use regular cotton sheets for the bottom though, as satin on satin slides off the bed way too easily.  Wrapping myself completely in satin gets my whole body buzzing [:)]
