Yes, big time. My friend and I actually use this as a vetting process with guys we meet.  We discuss substandard penis in the prospective male's presence, saying how wonderful it would be if you didn't have to go through this whole song and dance of dating flirting etc only to find the colossally SMALL let down at the end of all that. 

The story I tell most often in this context is that of a recent exboyfriend. We were in the dating ritual, getting to know you phase, and he made a joke about being hung like a gummi bear.  at least I thought it was a joke.  I will never take a comment like that as a joke again!!!!

Telling this story in front of men is always illuminating. So much can be learned from an appreciative, comfortable laugh, a reciprocating story, or the OBVIOUS tell "I thought it was about technique, not size."  To which a couple of bitches like us pat the poor guy on the arm and say "no sweetie, that's just what us girls SAY to make you feel better."

Funny, I don't see terms  like "slut, cunt, or whore for men" as demeaning, especially the first two. I know that they are supposed to be negative but I see them as a recognition of my sexual side, which is very much a part of who I am. So when someone calls me by one of those words, my response tends to be something along the lines of " You say that like it's a bad thing" which inevitably results in a puzzled look on the face of the person who called me that.

Not all women love a huge penis, myself included, and I also do not enjoy a particularly small one either, which was the situation with my last relationship. When you can't even feel it during anal sex, it is definitely small. However, for the most part, anything over 6" is fine with me. I bet though that for some men, I could learn to love a larger one. *hint*[;)].

You know Sunday has never registered with me much about religion, except the traffic close to the churches and no alcohol sales. My Mom's side of the family are Christian, but believe in still holding to the laws of Abraham and held prayer services at their homes on Saturday. They never believed there should be a stationary structure that is called a church.

On to more of what is related to the OP: Much of the difference is caused by a male wanting to keep their bloodline pure. If a female is seen as "loose" then they were passed over as a prospective wife. This is prevelant in the history of the east and west, but the Western philosophers and religions seemed to embrace the idea that females were inferior, rather than just having a different place within the species.

Aristotle was a big influence, minus the science portion, on the development of Western religions. Aristotle had a view that females were inferior for a couple of reasons, but he also supported the idea that the well being of a society depended on not just the happiness of males, but the happiness of females as well.

Now if it is looked at closely, the derogatory terms such as slut, whore, etc. were used more by females trying to maintain a status quo among themselves. Part of that status quo also includes the old saying about the cow and milk.

I was reading some sociobiology theories on it a few months back and it was very interesting to see where west and east diverged in history, and the different views.

Not sure why some males would want a "pure virgin" as far as sexually goes. I prefer one that I do not have to train as much, and does not have any hang ups about sex.

In thinking about this, I think the reason there are less words or phrases to demean men is that women do not need them. A look, maybe some condescending laughter, ignoring them, showing in some way you do not take them seriously........is far more effective. And women know this.
