I can't say I've given it much thought but now that you mention it I think there's a mix people on here...those who do have more than their fair share of real time experience, those who like to give the appearence of vast amounts of experience and feel because they've been spanked a few times they are entitled to judge everyone else, those who have no problem admitting they have little experience but great imaginations and the ones who really don't care because they realize they don't need to prove anything to a bunch of online strangers (you'll find the first group usually falling into this last group as they're just living and that's all that matters online). Sure, you'll find the people who are all about fantasy here...no shocking news...but lately I just don't pay all that much attention to the "one hit wonders" even if they post more than once. If so, what are some things that make you think that when when you read a profile or a post? The people who feel the most need to toot their own horns and seek some kind of validation from online strangers tend to be the ones who turn me off both in post and profile. I also think there are some who have become jaded and it shows in their posting style.

I don't think there is anything wrong in telling someone you have had experience, provided you really have but then lets face it, how many submissives, especially new, want a dominant that openly admits to having none? Its like the blind leading the blind, or so they think. The fibbers may well of started off as being honest but got nowhere and whilst they can hardly get away with telling an experienced submissive that they know how to 'dance' they can a newbie. If this leads to a relationship then great... good on them I say and as long as you didn't get carried away and let this innocent think that you had once had a long line of slaves and was Master of a harem, or that your ex wife was your slave for 15 years when the reality is, she didn't have a clue about that! then you should console yourself that it was only a small porky.

I really dont care much one way or the other, but yes, there are bound to be lots of people with no experience, just as there are bound to be lots of people with some experience and a few with a great deal of experience. This is a people business, so its more important that theyre good to know and safe to be around, and being inexperienced or experienced is not a great indicator of that except insofar as the genuinely experienced tend not to be jerks - because the jerks either way are often weeded out over time and the longer the time the more weeding out goes on.
