We women love power tools as well...the bigger, more horsepower and capacity, the more we want it.

No way!

When I was married, I was never allowed to touch my husands power tools.  I guess they became this symbol of forbidden fruits.  As a single mom, I would get so frusrated having to wait for someone who had tools and was available to help me do something.  I finally went out and bought my own power tools and taught myself how to use them.  I've been hooked on powertools ever since, and lust over the Home Depot or Ace sale flyers.  Same with camping.  I used to bemoan my fate that I had no male influence to take my sons camping.  As dense as I am, it finally occurred to me that I could  take them myelf.

I still need a man to open my jars for me though!

I fondle the ads for Kobalt tools and wander the tools section of Sears, though I've heard Craftsman tools aren't like they used to be.

Now, I couldn't get the bulldozer, since the condo association wouldn't like it parked outside and the garage is too small.  If I had me a pole barn...lessee...the cat would be as expensive as a house, so I could buy the cat and sleep in the pole barn!

They say that it brings neighbors togeather!  (Only because once you have one, all the neighbors want to borrow it or have you do things for them.)

When I was doing gutting projects in New Orleans, one person would rent out a Bobcat for a few days and the entire street would use it, dumping the trash in the median. The others did pay in for the rental.

True, sadly. I probably will never buy Crapsman again.

Man, pole barns are da bomb.  They've got sooo many options, like building little apartments alongside, nice tall garage doors...many opportunities for fun.

I get land lust from time to time, but almost all have restrictions stating that you have to build the house first; no throwing up a pole barn and living in it while the house is built.

Bunch of namby-pambies, that's all I can say.

I have been a tradesman all my life so tools i have plenty of. My next door neighbor is a farmer with all the gadgets for running a 150 Ha farm so i have access to what i need. I fix his electrics and he hauls my car out of the snowdrifts.

So,...Instead of putting up a picture of a nice car here
a man should put up a picture of his rollaway full of the
tools he used to build it, and his workbench?

Now you tell us!

I have tons of experience tearing Craftsman tools apart like way to much as in that was our primary business for like 2 years.  If one is looking for quality you have to buy the Craftsman Professional line.  The regular craftsman line is hit and miss. The 19.2 EX models are good for the price. I'd stay away from the regular craftsman cordless tool line below 19.2 (EX,Diehard, C3), the 18.0 volts and down are built like crap and come with shitty chargers.

The good thing about the 19.2 (EX,Diehard,C3) line is that one can pick up gobs of tools on ebay for cheap( I know we used to sell them), and then go buy a new battery and charger from sears. You literally save a few hundred bucks on a complete set doing it that way.

Companion (another sears brand), is crap, as well, but cheaper.

If I wasn't awash in Craftsman Cordless tools from then (I still have like a couple hundred drills, LOL, we had semi-truck loads before, so not much left in comparison),

I'd buy Makita probably.

That's all in relation to the cordless tools, which was our primary focus.
