Perhaps the OP could explain why so many "Masters" demand pics and want to know all my deepest darkest fantasies and fears and demand "control of every aspect of my life" before meeting for coffee? And many of them most likely have no intention of even getting to a face to face.

There are dreamers and posers on all sides of the spectrum, part of the price of doing business with anonymous strangers on the internet.

BTW- haven't you heard- everybody is so much cooler online......

Because people spend too much time looking at porn and websites and expect it to be exactly the same in reality.

Because a lot of people think this is all about kink and sex and rather than working to inspire confidence and trust they expect to be able to verify anyone and everyone immediately.

Because a lot of people find it much easier to blame a whole bunch of other people than to step back and look at what they themselves are doing.

Because many people become too attached to the concept of what they are seeking and who they are seeking and they're often not prepared or unwilling to make the effort and arrive at some sort of compromise.
