Hey there all!

Just a quick intro to tell you guys about myself. I am a real, actual person, currently a college student in the metro area of Minnesota and I happen to be searching for a dominant man for a partner. I'm also a total sci-fi geek, a ghost hunter, and a living historian. I am not planning on posting a photo of myself, because I don't want guys to see my body and ignore the rest of what I have to offer! I just wanted to reassure other people searching that there are still some of us out there who aren't players and who really are looking for that special somebody. I value integrity and honestly above almost everything else and I would hope that there are folks left here amongst the dominant men of MN who also value those traits.

So anyhow, it's nice to be a part of this community. I am going to ignore the players and wannabes and look forward to talking to those of you who are the real deal :)

Nice to meet you and good luck in your search.. If you ever do manage to get a surefire way to decipher the wannabe's and the players from the real deals.. do inform me, I might not be looking, but it would still be a good little tidbit to know. :)

Whatever method the real Doms use to distinguish themselves from the fakers will be quickly emulated by those they are trying to set themselves apart from. However if you pay close attention to profiles and journals it should be possible to see who is speaking from the heart and who is practicing lines.

As Reagan said, 'trust but verify'. If you accept a 'default disbelieve' policy, you'll probably be safe but have alot of frustration; if you strike up a conversation to verify you have a much better chance of exposing a fake.

*grin* We so rock! Well, I don't know of any sure way to tell the difference, but I *have* found that a pretty good way to tell a player from a seriously interested individual is to invite that individual to meet A) your friends B) the rest of your real time bdsm community and/or C) your parents.

*laugh* So far, it's worked pretty well for me!
