There's an old polling truism that points out something obvious: If you give people the choice of one green and four shades of blue, green will win. So it is with vote-splitting: five lefties and one rightie running...guess who wins?

And so it is with this poll. Those who don't want an obvious bias on their news will split four ways, and those who trust the outlet that supports their bias know exactly which outlet that is.

What's also notable is that Fox News is the least trusted media outlet for 61% of Americans, far and away the highest number.

You dont get the point as usual. A cable news station actually beat the most popular cable entertainment station. When does that ever happen on broadcast TV, except for 60 Minutes, when there is virtually no entertainment to compete with it.

And this statement from your link pretty much explains it:

Since 65% of FNC viewers are either liberal or independent, the "what they want to hear" line is bullshit.
