I too find that mind pain can be the best.  I totally enjoy telling my slaves why they have disappointed me.  For hours and days and weeks.  There is not even a day of play time. I don't have to punish very often, but when I do, I like to luxuriate in it for a few days, and put real effort and creativity into making the punishment fit the crime.
 
I like being creative, and I like being cruel and they delight in the sheer glee that it gives me, even if they don't delight in the manifested outcome for them.

One boy, every now and then, would call me honey, and he knew that I did not appreciate it, but it would slip out. I decided enough was enough and trailed honey all over the hot tub, and he is a germaphobe btw, then  he was made to literally eat his words, having to clean the whole outside surface with only his tongue.
