As many may know I repair big TVs. As such TVs do operate at work, for me strictly for testing purposes, I largely ignore it, but there are times....... So it's regular network TV from the digital box, which is good because it makes it easy to tell if the problem is in the reciever or the source, but that winds up on either TV court shows or Springer or other total junk. But I have noticed something on these court TV shows, well over half of the cases, I mean like maybe 80% are Women suing Men for money they had lent them. So many different scenarios exist. She got him a car or a cellphone. She cosigned. She loaned him money for a downpayment. She paid all the bills. She did this and that. All the time. This is a foreign concept to me, because Women married into my family do not work at a job, at least not for sustenance. But others differ and I can understand that and that our way is archaic. Regardless of the fact that things go my way in my pervue, others do not see it the same way. The mentality is hard to explain. But the main question is, why is it always Women putting up the money for things and Men, or supposed Men turning around and trying to call it a gift ? Then they say some dumb shit like "She just wants the money back because I left her". Are Men really that sharp or are Women that gullible ? What is it ? What has happened here ? Are Women the only ones in this country who actually simultaneously hold a credit card AND a valid driver's license ? Is it that Men are really so incorrigable(sp) that they rarely have both, which are required to rent or lease a car for example ? In other words, are Men becoming gold diggers ? Or are we just drunken sailors. We make a thousand a week, live with a Woman on welfare with six kids and have to borrow a couple of thousand off them, and then not pay it back ? Is that what this has come to ? Mind you I have no desire to watch this shit, but it does catch my attention at times. And as much as people may hate Judge Judy, she does have a way. Id est "If she gave you three thousand why did you pay back one thousand if it was a gift ?". Judgement for plaintiff for two thousand, goodbye. I am trying to better understand the social dynamic here. Any insight ? T
