One of the first Doms I chatted with from here seemed really cool, at first. During our chat, which was on Yahoo IM, there was a joke made and due to how it was worded, I later thought I had caught him in a lie. I kindly and calmly told him that I could pull the archive to back me up. He got VERY angry. He said that I had no right to archive our conversation, that I should have informed him b/c it was an invasion of his privacy. RED FLAGS. That says only ONE thing to me, he has something to hide and doesn't like there to be proof of what he does. I told him that I have a right to my comfort and safety, and that if he has a problem with that, than we need to break contact immediately. That made him more angry, as I had contacted him first, and thus I was "leading him on". I did cut contact right then and there, and have since blocked him. I just want to know what everyone else thinks of his behavior.

I think my curiousity would be piqued if something like that happened to me. I don't agree with lying and I don't know the whole situation, but what did he lie about? It looks like it's possible he took your "confrontation" a little to heart, but then again, judging by his reaction you may have mad a good choice in cutting off contact

I think its stupid to talk to strangers on yahoo or cam . If they are not willing to write out well thought e-mails,( from the privacy of c-mail where your personal addresses are kept private) to get to know you, kick them to the curb. Lots of dufases who arent who they say they are doing things they shouldnt be doing and trying to get you to do them. It involves you giving them a bit of cyber sex or trying to part you with your money.

Why dwell on it? You felt that something was hinky. You blocked him. You have moved on. Where is the issue?

When I do IM...on those VERY rare occasions because I think faster than I can type and it frustrates the hell out of me...I save everything. I save emails too. If this is seen as an invasion of privacy, maybe the other person shouldn't bother to use this type of communication. I just want to know what everyone else thinks of his behavior. It all sounds rather childish and makes me even more appreciative of real life meetings. You were smart for blocking. Is that what you wanted to hear? Of course, you do have "cybering" listed as one of your loves so who knows what he's to think...or anyone else for that matter. Add to that the fact you've only been here for 12 days and you're going to get all kinds of "doms" vying for your time. Time to live and learn. BTW...welcome.

And just for the record....if you use Yahoo IM, it automatically archives the conversations....it's part of the program.......but yeah, gotta agree w/the folks....move on.....trust me, dear.....follow your guts every time......it'll save you a lot of trouble!

Actually, archiving is something you have to set up in your preferences. I archive every chat & save emails too.

well, Linnea...that just goes to show you how much I know what I'm doing on the web......I somehow did something to make my virus thingy clear out my browsing history.....since I don't know what I did....I don't know how to undo it!! I just thought it did it automatically......when it comes to computers, well, let's just say I'm the Holly of computers......but I can answer a phone...... soul2share - if you have windows internet explorer, click on tools, click on internet options, and uncheck 'delete browsing history on exit' - you can still open tools anytime and delete the history manually, or you can recheck if you want it to start deleting again, and if you do not have it checked, you can set how much you want to store..

The dom showed himself to be shallow and childish. I would do the same thing if I was in your position.

So I guess he never sends emails either lol. Most emails programs archive emails even when they're deleted. You can still read them and save them from the delete box. Hate to inform the guy but everything he says online is archived someplace and is invading his privacy. I would have just laughed and told the guy it was nice talking to him and best of luck to him in his paranoia.
