Just curious if anyone has been, is it worth it to go? A new submissive friend mentioned wanting to go, and I got sort of excited about it, but now she's backing out, and I'm not sure I want to go alone. Master said He would consider it because He wants to get me a dress collar and I want to get a custom corset, but He HATES shopping, and says He'll leave me there when He gets bored and go to a museum. Maybe it's not worth the trouble, I don't know...Thoughts?

I would want to have someone with me. But I'm kinda shy about "adult stuff" in public. Can ya'll find another friend to go with you, so when Master gets bored you two could continue exploring? (I would go if I were there! Sounds fun!!)

I wish too, that would be fun! :) Alas, one of the reasons I was excited to meet this new person, I don't really have any friends in the scene to bring, and my other friends, while tolerant, aren't really into going to something like this. Maybe I'm overreacting and it would be perfectly fine to go alone, I've never done anything like this though, so it would be nice to bring a buddy!

I have gone to "fetish Flea Markets" and have found both good and bad. Some have been really well run and the products first rate and others seemed more like just people selling there used junk. How do you tell the difference???? The only well to tell is ask the local community and see what they say

Well you can't trust those people in Massachusetts in the first place, look what they did to the super majority[:)] well, it all comes down to you, if you feel comfortable then so be it, if you do not then do not go. The only way to know is to go yourself and make your own conclusions

LOL oh so true.... Many thanks for your advice, I guess I can have my cake and eat it too with Master escorting me. We go together, and I'm fine, and I get to see what it's like, so if He wants to leave, I'm either comfy staying or not, and I leave with Him if not, with my snazzy new collar and corset ;)

I went last year and had a blast. Although the shopping was a big portion of the event (I liked the larger areas better than the little booths they set up in hotel rooms), there was a lot more to do than that--my D and I had a good time checking out the demonstrations and lectures and poking our heads into the demo rooms. We're going again this year with some friends and I'm really looking forward to it.

Ah that's good news, I didn't know there was much in the way of demos and such, Master would like that I think. My sleeves make me pretty recognizable, please feel free to say hello should you see me there! :)

Went to the annual Kane County Fetish Flea Market. They had good prices on some used dildos...I asked if I could try them out on sub susie...No one seemed to mind, so I bent her over and knocked the dildos against the table to try and dislodge the majority of the poo,hair and blood and gav'em a test spin. Two bucks a dildo!!! What a deal. Think a rat chewed on one of them.

I wasn't as excited about the classes they're holding this year as the one from last year, but that's probably a matter of personal taste. You can find a listing of the ones this year here. I'll keep an eye out for you (lovely tats, btw)--if you see me, feel free to say hello as well.
