as I look at this my cat is right at the parrot cage looking at the parrot as tho he is the most fascinating creature on earth.

Give that parrot a laptop, and he can be one of the smartest creatures posting in this thread.

I will never fail to find such an attitude as you've displayed here to be quite fascinating. When in disagreement, always personally attack those you are in disagreement with. No one seems to think it is of any relevance to delve any deeper in to proving anyone's statements or beliefs to be false. I'd much rather be shown where I'm in error as opposed to being belittled or insulted.  I'm pretty sure this works equally well for many others here too.

...we could all learn from my parrot.  If someone tried to pluck his feathers- the human gets a bloody hand.

Something to consider.

in top gun a fighter plane would have diverted the wayward airplanes- so the expensive real estate would be in its pristine asbestos filled condition.

I wasn't thinking of your posts. You've made some good, reasonable, lucid arguments; and while I disagree with most of  those that I've read, and remain unconvinced by others, i respect them. Others in this thread... well, not so much. You say people don't bother making any effort to prove other people's statements to be false, but that could not be further from the truth - many of the statements that are being made in this thread have been proven false, repeatedly, and those proofs are not only completely ignored but ridiculed. And the people offering those proofs have been personally insulted. Have you really missed that?

If someone argues that the Earth is flat, and refuses to accept any evidence to the contrary,  I have no qualms about telling them that their argument is foolish, and suggesting that there may be something seriously flawed in their own thought process. If someone argues that the sun orbits around the Earth, and refuses to listen to any argument that disproves that, then again - i won't hesitate to tell them it's a foolish position and suggest that there's something wrong with the way they think. As far as I'm concerned, many of the arguments in this thread fall into the exact same category. And as long as the people making those idiotic arguments seem to feel free in ridiculing the intelligence and the credibility of anyone who doesn't agree with them, I see absolutely no reason to refrain from pointing out the complete idiocy of their position in equally direct terms.

Parrots are seriously under-rated. They're smarter than a lot of people in or out of this thread. The fact that you seldom see them posting on the internet (as far as I know) speaks volumes in and of itself.

who are you trying to bullshit?

Below is my post from the very first page that no one has commented except generically.

Sure if you and others of your ilk want to label something as being refuted by with your generic opinion as you did above and as you all do that support the government conspiracy theory I suppose that works.

No one has refuted a damn thing that I put up well except my old pal luckydog who seems to think there were thousands of generators that exploded LOL

there is one huge error in that clip that I cannot get the guy to remove and people here apparently are so well informed that no one here thought to mention it!

So Mr Mister is bang on!

I have concluded that WTC1 & 2 took years of planning by one man. I have no idea if he also worked on WTC7; I suspect he did not.

I would highly recommend looking at the link (which I'll post again here) I previously posted. It is very informative from a structural engineering standpoint.

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/118966

Thanks I'll watch it.

After watching the first instalment I doubt anything said is going to surprise me. He talks about the scientific method but fails to mention that the scientific method means approaching something with an open mind and willingness to be proven wrong. He has already used language that indicates this isn't how he has approached his investigation.

I'd advise others to watch the first video too because it’s amusing how he pronounces ‘corroborated’, it’s a kind of ‘collaborated’ and ‘corroborated’ mix which sounds like something to do with crabs.

I'll watch the others and get back to you.

To use your own analogy, people once believed the earth was flat, and/or the sun revolved around the earth, or that fight was mere science fiction, or etc, etc.  Whenever contrary ideas/theories were first proposed, the folks submitting them were ridiculed and thought to be mad. Even hearing from others much like what you are saying, that it is known fact the earth is flat, etc. Their experience must have been much like the folks who are currently telling us there is something afoul with the "official story" of 9/11 (or whatever else that is currently being disputed by others only to subsequently find that these theories or concepts have become generally accepted fact - only time will tell about this particular theory being discussed).

Yes, I at first (for many years actually) had much difficulty accepting these stories and was rather quick to dismiss them as absolute nonsense, that is until I actually began to look into it for myself. Sure there are things being proposed that are unadulterated nonsense or sheer speculation, but there certainly is more than enough evidence being presented or questions being raised that are indeed quite pertinent and indicate the "official story" accepted by the masses is more than likely very misleading and/or untrue. But we must be careful not to base our judgment solely on one or two things, the evidence must be looked at in its entirety.

jlf1961 -> RE: SENATE BURGLARY: CIA DOMESTIC BLACK-OP TEAM ARRESTED (2/2/2010 5:09:05 AM)

The only conspiracy concerning 9/11 that I believe in is the simple fact that the Bush administration knew of the plot before hand, having been warned by out going Clinton personnel as well as being warned by their own people in August, and did nothing to prevent the incident.

Four aircraft worth of people are dead, along with the thousands in the WTC.

It's because no one here works for you. The burden of proof is on you.

We get into exploring and refuting different positions all the time. When those positions from a given source are consistently the same silliness over and over, though, what's the point?

So all that's left is having some fun with it.

If it makes you feel better that you're especially enlightened and the rest of us just will never understand, so be it.

I see your point Musicmystery, and I do indeed apologize for coming off that I am "especially enlightened", as that certainly was never my intention.

I have always thought it to be far better for someone to find out about such things as this 9/11 conspiracy for themselves.

edited to add that I will just bow out of this thread.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: SENATE BURGLARY: CIA DOMESTIC BLACK-OP TEAM ARRESTED (2/2/2010 5:55:46 AM)

The problem with conspiracy theories in general is that they rely on untruths. When you give someone of such a view unequivocal facts that what they propose isn't the case, they instead focus on another aspect of the story. They act like slippery fish, they are only interested in the questions that don’t have immediate answers and when those questions do finally get answers they slip back to other questions long since resolved.

yeh if you want to completely ignore all the other material evidence as you and everyone else is doing in this thread.

Discussions really suck when someone like myself puts up pics that even a retard can can conclude is a demolition so the plan of attack is to skip over them and pretend you and others never saw them.

MrMister I doubt has ever had the wonderful opportunity to argue the matter with obtuse agenda driven political denialists who could give a flying fuck about the truth of the matter.

But he will learn!

yes and this is demonstrated beyond a doubt in literally all the government reports on the matter that talk about 19 cave men infiltrating the what is now days?, 400 billion dollar defense system and infected everyone with stupid pills.

I refuted a great deal of your arguements here, and you --- when faced with overwhelming evidence that there can be no truth to vast lines of 'proof' will, at best, call that a draw.

Why argue about this shit?

I have been in that building, crawling around alot in the guts, half of your claims are dismissed out of hand and when everything is said and done, dont forget that Sammy the Bull Gravano owned the cement and construction trades during that period, so ASME and shit doesn't hold there, laws of physics are suspended for that locale, certified or not.
