there was this book that i read and loved the only thing is i cant remember the name of the book or who wrote it . so i was hopeing that if i wrote as much of the story as i could remeber someone may remember reading it and know the name .there was this girl who's step mother was the queen of the fay.her stepmother wanted her dead so she exscaped and was hideing out pretending to be only half fay working as a privet investagater. her step mother finds her and she is brought back home but instead of killing her her step mother tells her that if she gives birth to the next in line to the thrown before her half brouther can she will be queen if not she will die.her half brother and his suporters are trying to kill her.her step mother offers her protection .its been a long time sinse i read this book so the story line maybe a little off. anyway if someone out there can help me i will be gratefull to them.

it was a novel . i had got at a bargin basment wherehouse .i lost the book when i move and cant remember the name . its not exactly a fairy tale . it has some erotic mater in it . i wish i could remember more about it

i was realy hopeing someone might know the name of that one how about this one there is a book about a women who has eldtimers and her husband comes to the nurseing home every day to read the story of her life to her sometimes she rembers sometimes they go on dates it was a hart renching tear jerker . i am terible with names and sometimes feel like i have oldtimers though way to young for that anyway i would love to find  these books so i can share them with daddy i have went into the book stores serching for books that i wanted to read but could not rember and get some funny looks when i say do you know the book about blah blah blah. its so frustrating . your help any help im desprate

While I cannot offer any help with the first book, the second one certainly sounds like The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (which is also a movie by the same name.)

thank you i received a message telling me the name of the first book and the name you just gave for the second sounds corect i thank both of you for helping me . and keeping me sane lol . thank you i plan on going to the book store tomorow and buy both books  so i can share them with daddy.

the first book was a kiss of shadows and i had gotten the story a bit confused becouse it had been so long since i had read it i do recamend both books

The first book you mentioned is a series by Laurell K. Hamilton.  It's called the Meredith (Merry) Gentry Series.  I don't know the titles though.  I'm sure if you look for Laurell K. Hamilton books, you'll find it.

She also writes another series called "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" which I highly recommend.

Edited to say I missed the OP's post saying someone told her the name...LOL!  That's what I get for visiting the Forums @ 6am.
