Tell it like it is, sweet:

Krugman to Ailes: "Fox News Is Garbage" (VIDEO)

It’s all well and good to snipe at the opposition from Microsoft Word, quite another to tell the guy sitting next to you that he’s a propagandist. Kudos to Paul Krugman for bringing a little more fact-checking and a little less elbow-rubbing to the Sunday morning talk show circuit.

Colouring the healthcare debate as socialism was a clever tactic, it was no different to the whole Joe the Plumber theme. They realised they struck a chord with that and then reused it in the healthcare debate reporting.

Fox news is insidious and the left need to stop playing their game. Announcing Fox news is rubbish just makes people curious about it and after the average person watches it there is a 50/50 chance the brain washing techniques they employ will work on that person.

People need to see for themselves, not be constantly told because they'll never see it if told. You and him in the film are kind of playing into their hands in a way.

That other clip I got too excited and found out after Krugfman didn’t use the word garbage, so that’s my fault. He said Fox was not providing good news but more politely. In this clip Beck really did use the word slaughter.

Glenn Beck Caught Lying and Smearing Again

Appearing for the first time on ABC's "This Week," Ailes said that Beck's often over-the-top rhetoric was politically legitimate, even if it ruffled a few feathers.

Reminded by Huffington Post's Arianna Huffington that Beck has warned of "slaughter" and a "killing spree" for those not on board with the Obama administration's agenda, Ailes insisted that the reference wasn't to this president but rather to murderous dictators.

"Well, he [Beck] was talking about Hitler and Stalin slaughtering people, so I think he was probably accurate," he said. "I think he speaks English, I don't know. But I don't misinterpret any of his words. He did say one unfortunate thing that he apologized for. But that happens in live television."

Ailes was wrong. Beck's reference was, indeed, to Obama.

Here is Beck warning of a possible impending "slaughter" in November 2009:

"I told you yesterday, buckle up your seatbelt, America. Find the exit -- there's one here, here, and here. Find the exit closest to you and prepare for a crash landing. Because this plane is coming down, because the pilot is intentionally steering it into the trees!
Most likely, it'll happen sometime after Christmas. You're gonna see this economy come up -- we're already seeing it, and now it's gonna start coming back down again. And when you see the effects of what they're doing to the economy, remember these words: We will survive. No -- we'll do better than survive, we will thrive. As long as these people are not in control. They are taking you to a place to be slaughtered!"

Glenn Beck is a sensationalist, this is what pays his bills getting notoriety. He's been doing it since radio no? Once upon a time few people knew of him, this is the problem. Sometimes by even entering into a debate with someone you legitimise what he is saying by in effect saying yes there is a debate to be had. Glenn Beck is a loon, this is the only relevant fact to all he says. If people are going to start debating with Beck then they may as well start debating with any old crazy person off the street.

As Shakespeare would say: “Mr Beck you are not worth another word, else I’d call you knave.”

Glen Beck is a loon is putting it mldly. I must say you can’t beat Jon Stewart though for hitting the nail right on the head.

Stewart Hammers Fox News For Cutting Off Obama's GOP Q&A (VIDEO)

President Obama's Q&A with House Republicans on Friday was "somewhat unprecedented in our pre-staged, kabuki political culture," noted Jon Stewart during Monday's Daily Show.
With all that rare political theater, you'd think the nation's news networks would air the entire event. CNN did. MSNBC did (and then some, as Stewart suggested).
As for Fox News?
"They carried it live. For awhile," said Stewart -- before hammering the network.

I am thinking FOX is being unfairly singled out.

Main media PERIOD is garbage.  Everybody know that.
