nah, he was calling something, not someone F**** retarded. Sarah Palin tried to seize the day, of course. He probably has done a boatload of crap worth firing him for, but this is probably not it.

I agree with intenze; he's an asshole, but I wouldn't fire him for this. Of course, I never would have hired the son of a bitch to begin with.

Give me a break, the only person keeping this in the news is Palin and that's just so she can get more spotlight on here.   It is getting to the point you can't say anything to anyone without someone asking that they be fired

Though I did like the last paragraph where they talked about him mailing a dead fish to someone he did not like

'Political correctness', despite it's bad rap and tendency to go overboard, actually has a worthy function - to avoid the proliferation of harmful stereotyping and labelling of disparate groups under one umbrella.

That politicians are often the worst transgressors isn't surprising, because they usually lack the ability to shut up, unless they are being held to account.

Lushy, I think he should be made to do something that humbles him and serves the community, on his own time. Palin should probably butt out, her involvement just reduces it to politicking.

I agree with this sentiment.

It's dumb...If he said this in an "open air" environment it should be taken a bit more seriously.

Many people say things in private that they would never say in front of the public.  I, on the onther hand, pretty much type out whatever crosses my lil' ol'  pea brain.

Did I mention that if Palin wasn't such a bitch her child may not have caught the downs syndrome?

The evidence is rather startling.

Leave him there. The voters will take care of the democrats in November.

No, don't fire him. Let him stay. He's been totally ineffective as WH COS. I have no problem with him.

Were I a disciple of James Dobson, I would say her child's condition is God's punishment for her wicked ways.

But I am not, of course.

But if I were.....

That's only when it happens to a non believer.  For those of the faith it is a blessing as God will never give you more than you can handle and it has a purpose.

If God wasnt going to give us more than we can handle he would not have invented prozac.

I agree with this... I would not have hired him in the first place

Those people in Haiti are really enjoying their "blessing from God." ....I wonder if the last thought of those buried in the rubble was..."I can handle this."

Dopey post.

Well, you sure couldn't call Rahm politically correct, which seems to be a liberal trait, after all.
